Judge Paul Ridgeway said common law and state Supreme Court precedent allow witnesses and jurors to use the text “most sacred and obligatory upon their conscience.”

The ruling came after the American Civil Liberties Union argued that limiting that text to the Bible was unconstitutional because it favored Christianity over other religions.

The issue surfaced when Muslims tried to donate copies of the Quran to Guilford County’s two courthouses.

Two judges declined to accept the texts, saying that taking an oath on the Quran was illegal under state law.

State law allows witnesses preparing to testify in court to take their oath by laying a hand over “the Holy Scriptures,” by saying “so help me God” without the use of a religious book or by an affirmation using no religious symbols.

So in Muslims Counties can Christians use the Holy Bible in there Courthouses?

for a science challenge I am making something which would contain hot metals and wires with wires coming out of it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what material I should use which doesn't get very hot when hot water/metal is inside it, which is easy to get hold of, (easy to make into a certain shape), is easy to cut into an finally looks robotic (ie some type of metal or clear material?) so it looks good not rubbish!
note: i would be willing to cope if a material cound't some some of the above things but it must be able to do the first, second and possibly even the third)

Im about 30 weeks pregnant and when I woke up this morning I used the restroom and everything was fine, but since then everytime I sit down I start leaking some fluid so I went back to the restroom, but ever since then for like an hour I am steal leaking when I sit down, I smelled the liquid and it didnt smell like urine, could something be wrong or is this normal?

I have a really bad perversion. I never really was a slave to lust, as in lusting over a female with my own eyes, it’s always been a pornographic perversion, and it has been escalating very quickly and has become a very bad thing in my life. Can someone help me? Like some one who has been through what I have been going through? I know the things like praying, and making sure I don’t put my self in the situation to be tempted. But im so scared because I see on the news about preachers and people in church who are involved in some sexual grime. I’m trying to die to this sin, but I don’t want to end up like those who have been free from sexual sin, become saved, and then sometime along the road they do something sexually detestable. I need to die to this real quick can any body give me tips and any heads up on this thing.?

Also, I know that the word of God sets me free, but where do I go to read into His bible for this thing?

they are like i am smart you are not because you are not in gifted and they act all stuck up and all they do is be nerds while we have to work our butts off! i passed to be in gifted but my family wanted me to have a normal childhood and the gifted teachers dont even care about the people who are not in gifted. the kids just brag again and again and be all bratty about it the name it just makes me mad! they are not GIFTED! they have no rights tobe higher and get more attention than the other children and i want them to shut up. I hate that program. they get to paint while we have to do math english, history, spelling, grammer, and all that junk! i mean it aint right yall. some kids stick there noses in the air cause of it. who started this program and why is it such a HUGE problem for public schools. and they look down on others because they are not in the dumb class if your child is in gifted pull them out for you all know it is a bad example for their home life and enviroment gifted
