Ask the Holy Spirit to take away the compulsive part of it - GOD needs to break that, if it's gotten to a certain point, it may not be controllable by you. Read scriptures about sin not controlling you, and stand on them.
-After God breaks the compulsion, you have to deal with the HABIT and UNDERLYING CAUSES. Those things are human, not spiritual, so you have to get that together with God's guidance. You may want to even talk to a mature Christian counselor or pastor.
- The habit can be dealt with by things like throwing out your porn, and not spending huge amounts of time alone in your room with cable. Find other things to do, things to read, and people to hang out with. Really, there is a LOT you're missing out on because of time lost to worthless things like porn. What do you like? Mountain biking? Swimming? Reading? Taking classes? New job??? There has to be something else you can spend time doing!!
- The underlying causes mean things that make it "attractive" to you personally. That is something you want to pray about (be honest with God about how much you LIKE the porn. What you like about it, and WHY you like it). You must like it, so be honest. Also - have you been sexually abused? Have you been isolated by your community? Did your parents expose you to porn at an early age? Are you escaping some other kind of pain?
Many times porn and fantasizing are about escape and control. The escape because you can go into a private fantasy world, feel pleasure, and "get away" from the world. The control because it's a situation where there is sex, and it's TOTALLY under your control. You choose what you look at, what the people look like, the time, the situation, etc. There is no other person, so it's very self-centered.
But first there is the compulsion! That is spiritual - so ask God to break it, and ask for the Holy Spirit's presence powerfully in your life!

I guarantee you that there are dozens of other guys in your church that have the same problem. However, many of them are too proud seek help. My best advice to you is find 3 or 4 guys that have similar issues and just meet once a week and help each other. Talk to your pastor, I bet he can lead you in the right direction. If internet is the problem, find an accountability partner and use some accountability program, like www.covenanteyes.com or family cyber sitter. It really helps.
Start doing another hobby also. Something to keep your mind from straying. Good luck. Email me anytime if you want.
Read the "Every Man's Battle" Series. "Every Young Man's Battle" is ment for teenagers but it can also be good for adults because if you started looking at porn as a kid the book kinda explains why. Also, check out "Being God's Man... In The Face of Temptation". All those books are by Stephen Arterburn. Authors Kenny Luck & Tood Wendorff also contribute.
Remember, it goes deeper than porn. It's about integrity.

Why man, don't you know that you
ARE
a slave to lust, as in lusting over a female with my own eyes? pornographic perversion makes you a slave to sexual lust, of any and/or every kind of such evil. The proof is the fact that it has escalated; escalated very quickly.
My question to you is before I continue, have you ever been saved?
There is good news. Christ experienced
EVERY
temptation which everyone of us humans have experienced. So He can help. In your situation, to crave such things you are watching, which your carnal nature is thriving or feasting on (porno), repulses you right? As Paul said, the things I don't want to do I have to do, and what I do want to do, I can't (Oaks paraphrase). This describes you in this area, am I not right? I know just what it is like that you are going through.

I would suggest that you contact the pastors/ministers of some Pentecostal and Apostolic Churches in your area, and ask them it they have any Spiritual Power in this area. Then you can go and have them pray with you.
I suggested these two denomination because they tend to have more spiritual gifts and power, but every church is different so you may have to try several in these denominations or maybe some other.
Also, if they can not help, ask them if they know of a church or person who can help.
God be with you.

You only get two goes at looking at somebody in a lustful way, apparently. Matthew 18:9 explicitly says 9“If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell. So you only get two chances to have a good lech, if you're doing it properly. Better make sure the two people you lech at are lookers!

Try hanging out with the youth from your church, and talk to someone that has gone through this before. I know I did, and my friend helped me get through this particular problem. As for Scripture:
John 8:32: "And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free."
This Scripture is one of my favourites.
E-mail me if you want...

There comes a time in our lives when we must put the Bible down and proceed with faith as our guide. Faith can be a wonderful thing if you let it. God loves us all and we are who we were meant to be. We must remember this, if nothing else. He created us to be who we are. He would not want to change anything. I believe this above all else and I am saddened when I see fighting about what a person should believe. All we have to do is be ourselves and we will be taken care of for the rest of time and beyond. God loves you and I love you. God bless for all time.

Two things:
1.) Sexual lust?
As opposed to the other kind of lust?
2.) Despite what Christianity says, it is not wrong to be interested in seeing other people have sex. In fact, it's better that you find release through porn than letting your sexual feelings bottle up and then do something immoral/illegal to satisfy your pent up sexual tension.
that's why all of those preachers and what not have these sex problems...the deny who they are sexually, bury it down inside, and then do reprehensible, hypocritical things because they can't hide it.

Pornography is an addiction like many others. Follow a 12 step program or something. It is easier to quit all at once that a little at a time. There is software that can be used by a friend to monitor what web sites you go onto.
Most sex offenders started with a porn addiction.
