My living enviornment.

Because I'm in college and thrifty, I'm forcing myself to stay in the ghetto with my roomate. My rent is very cheap, which allows me to save up money, and pay off debt. You'd think this would be a breeze, no?! WRONG.
Probably for the first time in my life I actually hear myself saying "i dont like poor blacks". And as a black person, I feel like **** saying that. But at the same time; I carry myself above this designated economical status, its not that I've had more opporitunities, I've created more opporitunity for MYSELF; But still I'm surroundedby homophobia, and complete ignorance, NOT just by the residents but also by white southerners!!

Sometimes it feels like I'm the only person alive.
