to them? Do you judge the person's appearance before you give? For example, if someone looks too healthy and clean, I am not inclined to give, but if they look weathered, crippled, and old I just feel led to give.

My 4 1/2 month daughter is really good about going to bed at night. We've got a great routine (massage, bath, book and bottle) and she goes to sleep easily. Naptimes, however, are horrible and I don't know what to do about it. She catnaps for 30 minutes and then many times wakes up crying...I can tell she hasn't rested enough because when she has had enough sleep she wakes up smiling, cooing, and full of happiness. I try to reassure her periodically and go in every five minutes or so to pat her. I don't pick her up, I just pat her and comfort her. This eventually leads to her screaming and crying to the point where she's inconsolable and I end up scooping her into my arms and that's the end of naptime!
Does anyone have any tips for getting her to fall back on her own? I've tried swaddling her, pacifiers, a "comfort object"...nothing seems to help! I don't get why our nighttime routine works so beautifully but naptimes are such a mess!

Does anyone live there now? Or have you lived there before? I was thinking of moving down that way and wanted to hear people's opinions who have actually experienced living there.

I'm in DOS for Windows Xp recovery. I'm trying to access the C: drive folder but I can't. When the recovery console starts, it starts in C:\WINDOWS\

From what I know, all you have to do is type "Cd.." to get to the C: folder but it doesn't work. It keeps saying that "The command is not recognized...type HELP". Is there another way?

I'm trying to copy files from the Windows CD to the C: drive. The files are "ntldr" and "ntdetect.com". System won't boot without these files.

Thanks

All mammals drink their own specie's milk. Whale's milk is made for whales. Horse's milk is made for horses. Human's milk is made for humans. Cow's milk is made for cows.

Don't you think it's very very weird that we drink cow's milk and think it's ok and not other animals (or even our own)?

I think if we are drinking cow's milk, it should not gross you out that I want to try whale's milk.

Pretty much anyone that wanted to be a Christian would merely have to show up to church on Sunday, and they would likely be welcomed with open arms. The same goes for most other religions, but not Scientology.

It is my understanding that one must be invited by a current member, and that the "recruit" (for lack of a better term) must pass a rigorous screening process before it is decided whether they are worthy or not of joining.

This topic came up recently on a radio show I listen to sometimes, and the one Scientologist who phoned in to discuss it spoke as if he was looking over his shoulder the entire time he was discussing it. The next day, the show's hosts also said that the local Scientology church called them, and essentially threatened them if they spoke about it again.

I would be especially interested in hearing from current or former members of Scientology. I am genuinely interested in learning why everything seems to be such a 'closed door' with your beliefs.

In other words, is it more important to follow the precise language of the law or obtain the grander outcome it was created to achieve? Explain please.

This question can apply to any system of regulations that attempts to influence what one may or may not do. Some examples might include legislative acts, constitutional amendments, religious commandments, relationship guidelines, athletic codes... etc.

war on terror?
Bush speaks today to the Coast Guard about some 2005 Osama tape 'proving' that Osama wants to do some terrible deed in US in 2007.
He's also approved thousands more US combat troops to Iraq by the end of the year(on top of the 30,000 he started his "surge" with. )
This is a seriously manipulative administration.

Stewart M. Powell, Hearst Newspapers
May 22, 2007PDT Washington --
The Bush administration is quietly on track to nearly double the number of combat troops in Iraq this year, an analysis of Pentagon deployment orders showed Monday.
The little-noticed second surge, designed to reinforce U.S. troops in Iraq, is being executed by sending more combat brigades and extending tours of duty for troops already there. The actions could boost the number of combat soldiers from 52,500 in early January to as many as 98,000 by the end of this year if the Pentagon overlaps arriving & departing combat troops.

Our original bylaws indicated six individuals to become the member of the board of directors. Due to politics and limited knowledge of the people at the place of worship, they expanded to 26 people. Also, the head of the priests serve as the President or Chairperson of the board. I do appreciate any insight information or comments that you can make. I suggested to the group that we should stick with our original charters. (The group acted more like a gang, by bringing their peers to serve on the board and making decisions toward their own.) Thank you for your time.

"That would suit me just fine; the lepars
were separated for the health and well-being of the people. Since filth and disease
are a reality for the homosexual, yes, of course they would do well to live in exclusion to those of us who value a clean healthy and moral life for ourselves and for our children. Indeed, that would also serve
as a protective measure for our children.
Unless, of course, if child rape is now going to be the next question as to whether it
is proper or not? God only knows what the next disgusting thing is on the gay agenda.
It makes me want to vomit to think of it."

Amazing amount of love in that cutie.

I have been with this man for 7 years, and we have a four year old daughter together. He is a great father and has done nothing really bad to me, I just don't feel interested anymore. I feel like he won't do anything around the house, he doesn't barely work, he is in University right now and tells me he wants to get a job where he doesn't actually have to work. It work ethic is well below average. He has never for four years, changed our daughters diaper, gave her a bath, or dressed her. I do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, car maintanence(he doesn't drive), lawn maintanence, everything. I feel like sinlge mom of two kids! I just feel like it might be easier on our daughter if I get out now instead of when she is older and more attached to him. Any advise would be appreciated.
