war on terror?
Bush speaks today to the Coast Guard about some 2005 Osama tape 'proving' that Osama wants to do some terrible deed in US in 2007.
He's also approved thousands more US combat troops to Iraq by the end of the year(on top of the 30,000 he started his "surge" with. )
This is a seriously manipulative administration.

Stewart M. Powell, Hearst Newspapers
May 22, 2007PDT Washington --
The Bush administration is quietly on track to nearly double the number of combat troops in Iraq this year, an analysis of Pentagon deployment orders showed Monday.
The little-noticed second surge, designed to reinforce U.S. troops in Iraq, is being executed by sending more combat brigades and extending tours of duty for troops already there. The actions could boost the number of combat soldiers from 52,500 in early January to as many as 98,000 by the end of this year if the Pentagon overlaps arriving & departing combat troops.

Nine U.S. warships enter Gulf for trainingABOARD USS JOHN C. STENNIS - Nine U.S. military ships entered the Gulf on Wednesday for a rare daylight assembly off Iran’s coast in what naval officials said was the largest such move since the 2003 Iraq war.

U.S. Navy officials said Iran had not been notified of plans to sail the vessels, which include two aircraft carriers, through the Straits of Hormuz, a narrow channel in international waters off Iran’s coast and a major artery for global oil shipments.

humm. I would offer that the US is gathering together enough troops for still another war...

Not all Americans swallow the nonsense he spews daily. Many of us are knowledgable about his deeds and crimes against humanity. Unfortunately we the educated masses have no say or control over foreign or domestic policy and are powerless to stop the Son Of A Bush. Do you have any solutions to this dilemma?

Do you suggest we abandon the war against radical Islam and allow them to declare victory as well as the entire middle east?
Random Jihadists trying to wreak havoc in Iraq are much better than Iran/Iraq/Syria/Afghanistan controlled by an agressive regime with nukes, focused on destroying anything non-Muslim. This isn't scare propaganda, but a very mainstream belief we are against.

most americans do not even listen to bush anymore. However most dont want to do anything about it. If they only realized how its costing us in the long run, in dollars, lives, and world opinion, maybe they would speak out more. However since we n live in the "ME" generation, where noone gives a hoot about anything else except themselves, they will never even write a simple letter, unless it affects them dramatically in their lives. Take the gas prices. They go up, a few whine, nothing gets done, they go down a bit, and then go up to record highs yet again, and yet we continue to allow this since the 1970's. We still buy it, we still buy large SUV's, and we rack up our credit to the limit till one day our country will no longer be ours and we will wonder what happened!
Gas prices affect the average person much more than Bush...and even those prices we do nothing about! So as far as madman Bush? No one even cares anymore since they believe it will never affect them....what a sad society it is...

Because most americans are so happy with their fluffy little security blanket that they would rather not EVER think outside the lines, and accept the obvious corruption that exists. I mean they are scared, it would really suck to loose that 9pm reality show and the bucket of greasy popcorn, ya know?

I agree call the whole thing a dud and forget about it. We all know the twin towers are actually still there and my friends are spirited off to some tropical paradise and didn't die that day. It was all a scam to get the oil in the middle east. Hell, maybe the ttoth fairy did it to get revenge on Santa.

Because he is a heroic president waging a war against a real enemy whom the liberals are unable/unwilling to accept.
Get your facts straight, and you will realize that you should be supporting our brave president.

I think there is only a small portion of the American public that even listen to Bush anymore. They know he is a liar.. but they know he is still in charge and so nothing they think or say can be done.

We can only hope and pray that he will soon be gone.. from Washington and from our lives... he has ruined our country!
