is wrong with him you wonder?

He says that he wanted to know what it felt like to "beat a dead horse" ... apparantely, he has some sick fascination with that saying.

He was hired only a couple days before the horse died; do you think he may have poisoned the horse or something?

He obviously is an unstable man .... should the owners of the barn have an autopsy done on the horse?

I am good friends with the owner, and I feel very bad for them and this unfortunate incident.

A ball is dropped from rest from the top of a building and strikes the ground with a speed of Vf. From ground level a second ball is thrown straight upward at the same instant that the first ball is dropped. The initial speed of the second ball is v0=vf, the same speed with which the first ball will eventually strike the ground. Ignoring air resistance, decide whether the balls cross paths at half the height of the building , above the halfway point, or below the halfway point. Give your reasoning

First of all, let me state that global warming is the warming of the Earth's atmosphere leading to climate change such as the melting of ice caps, melting of glaciers, and rising sea levels. I don't think there can be much debate about whether global warming is actually happening. I think the term "global warming" is mistakenly used to mean "warming caused by human activity".

Second, I'm not asking what, if anything, can be done to stop/slow global warming. What I'm asking is to what extent do you think human activity is involved with global warming versus natural processes - whether they are Earthly or Solar.

My personal feeling is the warming is part of a natural cycle which human activity might accelerate, but is not the root cause.

John 11:49-50 (NIV) reads:

Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish."

I've been after buying a used car for a while and found the perfect one in the autotrader. It is an 02 reg civic and absolutely immaculate on the outside and the interior, i fell in love with it. However, on closer inspection on opening the bonnet i found that there was a lot of rust on the nuts/bolts/pipes and various other places. The guy selling it is a trade dealer and bought it from RRG Toyota to sell on, he seemed really genuine. The car has only had 1 owner and has full Honda service history. The mileage is quite high for a 5 year old car, 83,000 but it was a company car so i'm assuming it is mostly motorway miles. The only thing that is stopping me from buying it is the rust in the engine, is it a bad sign or not really that significant? problem. Being a typical girl i dont know much about cars so i would like the opinion of someone who does please!

Girls came back from home after weekend and power cable was gone for cable box. Threw his old soap bars and garbage all over the living room , will not talk to the girls he said he just lost it when I asked him about it.
