You can call and ask them or just go to the PS and have him get all of your information and send it in and wait four weeks to find out if you are approved or not.

Be sure to see at least three plastic surgeons and find one that is under your health insurance plan (if you go out of the network it will cost more out of pocket).

Usually an insurance company will not cover breast reduction surgery unless it's for a chronic medical condition (like chronic back pain) and they require a note from your doctor saying you have a condition that warrants the surgery. Otherwise, insurance companies consider it 'cosmetic'.

I have the same problem....and it sucks.

You can call and ask them. Some companies give you an online account where you can check those sort of things out or maybe check with your HR to see if they have a book with the benefits in it. Also check with your dr. Sometimes they will also check to see if it is covered. good luck. I had a friend who had this done and she is very happy now.

Speak with your doctor. Usually your insurance will cover it if its for medical reasons (which then you will have to get a letter from your doctor anyway) for things like causing back pain or something.

If its just for cosmetic purposes.. sorry but your insurance wont cover it
