"The bright region in the image is the Orion Nebula itself which is visible to the naked eye and is where the majority of the star formation is taking place. One can see that the gas (which really does look like clouds!) extends over vast regions and helps to "feed" the star formation. The image is over 30 light-years from top to bottom. The region shown is approximately the size of two full moons on the sky."

If The Star Formation Is 30 Light-Years From Top To Bottom, Can It Be Visible Without Any Use Of Scientific Equipment...I'd Really Like To See This And Share It With My Family. =]]

Natural disasters like these are environmental processes that have been going on for billions of years. There is nothing human beings can do to induce earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or tsunamis. Even tornadoes and hurricanes are caused by natural mechanisms (although there is some evidence that global warming is increasing the tendency for more severe weather.)

In any event, earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis are a result of platetechtonics, which has been at work long before human beings arrived on the scene. It's not god, it's not pollution, it's not sin, and it's not Satan. It's good old mother earth shaking her continental plates.

Get it?

whcih is it that supposed to have the largest voltage across it? Is it the largest capacitor or the smallest capacitor?

I connected a 1000mf, 100mf, and 10mf capacitor in series with 10V. THe 1000mf capacitor had the largest amount of voltage across it. I thought the smallest value was supposed to have the largest voltage across it.

There are two main qualifications for running for President of the US or for VP. First you must be 35 years of age or older, and second, you must have been born in the US. There is a specific order that is in place for if the President dies. If the President dies, then the VP becomes president. If they both die, the Speaker of the House is next. If all three die, then it is the Senate Pro Tempore, and then Secretaries of State, Treasury, Defense etc.
What if, for example, the Speaker of the House was Arnold Schwartzeneger, who was not born in the US? What if something happened in the 1970s and it got down to Henry Kissenger as Sec State, also not born in the US?

He is almost 4(in Sept.) and started to talk really early , when he was two he was talking in full sentences. When he was about 2.5 he started to stutter and he still stutters now and then. He can go for weeks without a problem and then again stutters for a week or so. Does seem to have tension and struggle or facial muscles modifications .But when he stutters he repeats like that le le le le le let's go go play .Is that stuttering?

I was wondering if I'm the only one doing this, because for me censoring clearly doesn't work.

I watch TV, someone says something bad, and I hear this 'bleep' or 'buzz' or whatever it's called in the English language.

Then I start to guess which cuss word was bleeped away, so in my head are at least 20 to 30 different cuss words at that time, in my little guessing game.

So, censoring cuss words makes it much worse for me. One censored bad word is traded for 20 new ones in my head. Am I the only one doing that, or is this a common thing?

I'm not saying this to be hurtful to women. I am currently going to College for a degree in Engineering. The ratio of men to women students in the engineering department is 8 to 1, meaning that for every 8 men, there is only 1 girl. The girls that I'm in classes with do just as good as the men. I'm just curious if women are being told to stay away from engineering by there parents or they are just scared. I know it has nothing to do with your intelligence. If you’re a girl, what do you think the answer to my question is?
