Lebron James doesn't have the killer instinct. He cannot take control of the game when it counts. He is not a clutch shooter. Tonight shows that he does not want the game to fall on his shoulders. Lebron gain some balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yeah he was 1 assist shy of a triple double, but the fact is that he is not clutch. He dished the ball instead of taking the shot. What superstar doesn't want the last shot? Did you hear Magic? He even said that Lebron needed to take the game over in the second half. He did this against NJ and barely beat a C rated team. Cleveland is so luck they didn't face Miami, because the would of been smashed. Why do people always blame the ref? As a star your suppose to play through the refs calls. Lebron is over-rated.

Mature? Mature? what a great characteristic to have. Clutch player, Killer instinct, or Game changer. I think I would rather have one of those characteristics. I remember a Heisman Trophy winner....Troy Smith...they said the same about him, but what happened when it counts? That's right nothing. He was stomped in the championship game, just like Lebron is going to get smashed in the eastern finals.

I think your someone that has not seem too much of Lebron and just how much he contributes in a basketball game, averaging 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists a game this season, which is just phenomenal. Remember this kid is only 23! He has a decade of improvement in the NBA.

Unfortunately he is more of a passer than a finisher and to become Jordan-esque, he must finish when he drives to the lane more instead of trying to make the assist.

LeBron seems like a quiet, thoughtful, mellow person. No, he doesn't have D-Wade's clutch performance or Kobe's killer instinct. He could increase his aggression.

But truth be told, I have never seen a more mature 22 year-old player. He is far better than the 22 year-old Kobe or the 22 year-old D-Wade. His supporting cast is satisfactory, but he makes so much out of it. Also, I read a 3-page essay/interview in one of last year's ESPN magazines. It was so articulate and deep and clearly-written. I thought William Golding or Charles Dickens had written it. LeBron's maturity is also evident through his composure. He doesn't get all hyped up and angry when they lose or when he plays a bad game. He's so calm and composed. He's also actively involved in community service, and he's so committed and organized in carrying out what he plans to do, even during the summer when most players don't do anything but eat and sleep and go to Disneyland.

I have never seen a more mature 22 year-old. As seen with Kobe, fame is not an easy thing to handle when you're so young, and it can get false hopes up or make you over-confident. LeBron is doing a great job handling all this pressure, responsibility, and media scrutiny. He will be amazing in the next 5 years, not that he isn't already

We would of all like to see Lebron take that shot but that doesn't defines him as a superstar. Why he is a superstar is why Marshall was wide open with a chance to win the game. You forget last year was a 7 game series, Lebron knows when to take over, when to shoot or pass the ball. Had this been game 7 he would of DUNKED all over the Pistons and got foul. And for the record he did get his team in the finals even though The Nets was favored with their big 3. All Lebron is doing is setting the Pistons up for the fast ball while they are looking for the curve.

One thing that i believe makes others undermine Lebron's true talent is that he is not confident with his outside shot, something that is needed in a clutch game winning playe. The greatest clutch players (MJ, reggie miller, kobe bryant, robert horry) rely on their ability to create space at the end of games in a one on one defense and take an outside shot, since the defense tends to guard the paint in 1 point 2 point games. So, before Lebron can believe in a cross over and a jumpshot, he cannot be called a clutch player.

I think he did the right thing by passing the ball. it shows he is a team player. let's say he took the shot and missed, then he gets dissed for being selfish. a wide open player has a better chance of making a shot the someone who is guarded. It is better to take a chance to win a game then take a chance to tie a game.

To me, he just didn't seem into it. He's a superstar, but he needs to score early in the game to get going, he's not the type of player that can score whenever he wants, like Kobe, McGrady, Iverson, he needs to get rolling early, then pick his spots.

By the way, if Donyell Marshall hits that wide open 3 pointer, everybody would be saying what a great pass that was and how Lebron is such a team player.

haha i agree lebron is absolutely disgusting at the end of games. he cant even make free throws when it counts. i think hes very overrated cause he doesnt have the ability to close out games for his team. eric snow could do better than him in the clutch lol

for him to win he needs better players he carried the team this far. look at bryant he is a great player but he can't do it on his own.
