I got a degree in Business Admin. with a concentration in Accounting, started working and realized I don't care for the job. So I am reevaluating things and thinking of changing careers. For the most part I hear people do completely different jobs from what their majors were in college anyways. I am curious to know if you guys like or hate your jobs and the reasons why?

About 6mts ago, I got in on one of those great "ground floor" opportunities and bought a timeshare. Now I'm thinking about reselling it. The package that I got has gone up in value substantially, so there would be a small profit in it. I called the company and inquired about the process. Problem is that since the property is not finished, I don't qualify for resell help from the company. Technically, there is no timeshare property at my timeshare address. The property is not scheduled to be complete until spring 08'. Any suggestions?

I have been hearing that gas prices are suppose to go up to $4 a gallon. What the heck???? Isn't gas a neccessity and not a luxury? It is not like a can cut buying gas like I cut buying a latte!

I am 5'2 and weight 135lbs. and I use the treadmill everyday in the morning for 1 hour and half burning aprox. from 1,000 to 1,100 cals plus 30 to 40 mins of weight excercises at night. Even though I do all this instead of losing weight I am gaining more especially on my hips and thighs, so I would like to know what I'm doing wrong.

i dont know what catagory this should go in but whatever! so i'm 14 yrs old and i love makeup. i always put on makeup. and i'm pretty good at it. in 3 yrs when i graduate high school i'm gonna go to makeup school! but until that happens what should i do! i'm not aloud to go to the mall with my friends, but yet my other siblings were aloud to when they were my age! and i told my mom that many of times but still her answer is that i'm not aloud! lately i find myself on the computer watching the time go by! what should i do in my spair time!? i cant think about a hobby cause makeup is practically my hobby. what can i do now that will prepare me for the future of anything! i cant sing, i can act but its a little too late to take acting classes and besides we dont have money for that, i'm not that great at dancing! what can i do!? My temp agency sent me to what I've realized is a dream-job.
The employer just loves me and have offered me a position full-time. So far so good, right?
Well, alas the agency is asking for close to $10,000.00 from the employer, if they want to "steal" me.
The employer is a small business and they simply don't have that in their budget. :-(

It's really sad for me because there aren't other businesses like this in my city and I just love this type of work. It would be perfect for me, I love the team, etc. But they just can't find it in their budget to slap down $10,000.00 - they're trying to find a legit way to keep me as I write this, and hopefully we can find a solution that's legit and not in violation of anything.

What if the employer were to "terminate" my assignment. Is there a certain waiting period before I'd be able to come back and work for the employer full-time, independent of the agency?

I try to listen to my body when it's hungry, and I get hungry for lunch at 11:30 am, so I eat then, but then I'm hungry again around 3 pm so I end up getting candy from the machine. What are some healthier options? Nothing that has to be cooked or extensively prepared because I work full time. I also do not like fruit. I don't need to lose any weight but I don't want to gain weight.

I told another mom, that my daughter enjoys "outdoor activities" better than sitting in front of her laptop chatting with her daughter and she said to me, that using the computer will be very helpful in her future life (my kid is 7) so, I told her to "get real" and suddenly, the conversation on the phone was over.
