When you enter a DNS address (answers.yahoo.com) it is looked up in a DNS server and an IP address is returned. I tried it with answers.yahoo.com and got 209.73.187.220. When that is entered as the URL it returns a Yahoo error page. So I have three questions.
Why did I get an error?
Would it be faster than a DNS address?
If so, why doesn't a browser store IP addresses and use them directly?

well theres this guy and he told me he liked me but his best friend did too. after a couple of months him and his best friend split up and i told him i liked him and i sholdve said something when he told me, we used to always talk online like best friends but never on the fone. i dont have any classes with him so i cant really talk to him in school. sometimes i see him and we kinda avoid eyecontact.....other times we just say hi. what should i do? we stopped talking online and its like...we're strangers, but i still like him and i want to know if he still likes me, what should i do!?

Am I right in thinking to set up a laptop in addition to my computer, i just need to connect a wireless adapter to my computer and then I will be able to connect a wireless laptop to it and work both off the same internet provider? Or is this too simple? Help, I'm a complete novice with computers.
