OK, OK... Eve was birthed from Adam's rib as a fully adult human, not a child. You've got me there. This makes Adam even MORE of a miracle! He gave birth to an adult woman and then married her! Like they do in rural Mississipi!

OK James. Adam had Eve, a fully grown female, come out of his rib. I stand corrected. My question remains, however and this point, I'm afraid, doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

Adam's rib wasn't made into a child, it was Eve that came from God's hand using the rib. Eve, like all women, concieved...... I don't know if you meant to, but this question is funny!

If you're going to make fun of the bible, you'd do yourself a huge favor and actually see what it says first. That way, you might save yourself a bit of embarrassment when it's pointed out to you that it says only Eve was created from Adam's rib (and nothing about him being pregnant).

You might want to reread that chapter again God created man. Then God said, "It's not good for man to live alone. He put adam to sleep and took one of his ribs and made Eve. ADAM HAD NO CHILDREN FROM HIS BODY--Eve had the children.

Please read the book of Genesis. Any English translation ca be but i suggest the Jerusalem Bible or the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) for you to understand your question.
