why on Earth can't you at least wait until the car has stopped to light the cigarette or dial the phone? I jump 10 feet every time I see someone bearing down on me with their eyes on their cigarette or cell instead of the road. And please no "it only takes a second." In 1999, that second resulted in my getting hit and suffering 3 broken bones.....

I have been to Las Vegas 5 times in the past 4 years. Mohegan Sun twice in the last year and Atlantic City 6 times in the past year. I love to gamble and I absolutely love Las Vegas. I think its the greatest place in the world. My question is I get a ton of mail from Atlantic City atleast 10 pieces a week. Free cash & comps, free rooms, free shows etc,etc. But from Las Vegas I get very little. I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this, is it because I live on the East Coast or is it because the casinos in Vegas does not send alot of stuff. Or maybe they just concentrate on states around Nevada.

I'm making a board game, trading card game, and roleplaying game and I want to know where I can buy prototype parts such as dice, counters, blank playing cards, game boards, etc. for cheap. If not for cheap then whatever you know of. Are there any brick and mortar franchises that I could find this stuff at?

..., which means that he *was* pulling strings and tampering with our will (otherwise, who knows, God forbid, maybe the Romans wouldn't have convicted and executed Jesus!), then why didn't He make it easy on everybody by pulling some strings right in the beginning, in the Garden of Eden?

I mean, didn't He know, even back then, that He will anyway end up forgiving the humans? Why drag it on for so long, involve Jesus, and all?

The reason I ask is that there is a lot of killing, sexual promiscuity, dirty name calling and bigotry in that little book, and I don't think it should be within children's reach.

Maybe when they're older it's an OK book to read, but those Bibles are always left in a drawer that little kids can reach.

Hi all,
I have a problem when trying to read the analog value from the
onboard potentiometer on Dragon 12(mc9s12dp256) .I came to know that
the potentiometer is internally connected to pad07 and the result is
stored in the adr00h register.I tried to display it on the LCD.It
gives a blank space.These are my ATDCTL config words

_io_reg[atd0ctl2] =0x80;
_io_reg[atd0ctl3] =0x08;
_io_reg[atd0ctl4] =0x80;
_io_reg[atd0ctl5] =0x27;

I tried connecting the vrh and vrl to 5v and 0v respectively but still
didnt work out.

Could anybody suggest how i can read values from the pot.

An incredible episode, that has people talking about the show once again. Were any of you reminded of the movie "Psycho" in that whole scene with Ben and an invisible Jacob? When "Jacob" said "help me" to Locke it reminded me of Tony Perkins pretending to be his long dead mother. Of course, Jacob might be real after all and the internet already has pictures of him (see for example: Wikipedia; key words: Lost, the others) . There's speculation that Jacob is sort of like a Biblical character, perhaps a messiah of some sort.

Also, if those people in the pit really are the Dharma group who were gassed to death by the Others, then it really does make Ben and the Others mass murderers, which I believe makes a direct reference to the Holocaust. Very disturbing stuff.

She has lost a lot of cognitive function very quickly. In less than a week she has gotten to where she doesn't know who family members are and she is very concerned about numbers...dates, baseball scores, television channels, she keeps counting to 6 over and over.
