My daughter was born via IVF (test tube baby). She's a wonderful, normal, happy 3 year old who brings us great joy every day.
Shortly after she was conceived, a Christian I knew explained to me that my daughter would not have a soul because she was conceived outside the womb. So- does that mean that Christians don't believe she will have an afterlife? of any kind?
This does not trouble me, as I believe in life *before* death. But- I'm trying to understand what the Christian belief on this is.

“A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.” --Mark Twain

I know more about my health. My puppy is house-trained, most of the time. My home is organized and, for the first time, clean! Of course, that's because I'm moving to be near family and nearer to public transportation. By next year, I hope to be settled in and have developed a wider network of interesting friends. I also hope to be even healthier.

What about you? Where will you be?

I got my internet speed tested at a few websites, and all of them list me roughly in the 2,000 kb/s range. But isn't that just 2 mb/s? How come some wireless routers have listed speeds up to 108 mb/s? Is there something I'm missing? Are those speeds for two different things? Thanks.

I have braces now and since I got them my teeth have been very nice, but they're a bit off center now. My orthodontist says she won't fix it because "it's the least of my worries" in terms of all the other things about my bite and etc. she has to fix.

When my mouth is open in a relaxed position, you can see two teeth (front tooth & the one beside the front tooth) on one side, but on the other side you can only see the front tooth. It seems very obvious to me whenever I look at myself.

Is this common? Is it noticeable to other people? And is it considered ugly?
