I have braces now and since I got them my teeth have been very nice, but they're a bit off center now. My orthodontist says she won't fix it because "it's the least of my worries" in terms of all the other things about my bite and etc. she has to fix.
When my mouth is open in a relaxed position, you can see two teeth (front tooth & the one beside the front tooth) on one side, but on the other side you can only see the front tooth. It seems very obvious to me whenever I look at myself.
Is this common? Is it noticeable to other people? And is it considered ugly?

Probably the only people who would ever notice something like that would be people pre-occupied about problems with their own teeth. Most people won't notice it. Your teeth sound fine to me. Keep 'em clean. That's what people notice, when they notice teeth at all.
You don't want to be totally perfect anyway. Perfection is boring. A crooked smile is cute-- but again, yours doesn't even sound noticeably crooked. Look at other people's smiles. Do YOU notice their teeth, whether straight or crooked or ever so slightly off-center? I can assure you guys don't care in the least--unless they're totally obsessed with looks, themselves. Would you want to be with someone whose number one priority was how they looked or how you looked? How lame is that?
So don't worry so much about it. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter in the least. It's not how perfect your smile is, but how sweet it is that will attract the attention of others.

Your teeth will be absolutely beautiful when you get your braces off!!! I had them and 10 years (and 5 retainers) later my teeth still look great! Don't worry about what your teeth look like with the braces on. Just know that you are making this sacrifice now for a gorgeous smile!
PS. People thought my braces were cute, I'm certain yours are too!

it isn't really that attractive, but since you have braces your teeth are going to get fixed anyways...
i have braces and from experience they will mess around with your bite first and then fix the alignment of your teeth
and some things YOU notice, other people probably won't notice so don't get yourself down

This is hard for me to picture. Are the braces still on ? If they are , give them time. IF they aren't , it can't be too bad if they are all done . Post a picture .

Do you really want to look like everyone else and not stand out at all?

I had the same problem when i took off my braces, its not even that noticable

actually, a crooked smile is cute.just show them off like you're proud of it, not ashamed of it..and then it'll come out cute.
