type when you only have the use of one hand?

I've been getting better at it since I'm the mother of a preschooler...she tends to want to sit in my lap and look at things on the computer like pictures of animals and mountains and the stars and moon, but she moves around so much that I end up having to type things into the search with just one hand because I can't reach around her very well with the way my computer is set up. That and my cat likes to try and sit on the desk right between me and the keyboard....hmmmm, maybe I sit here too often..... :)

When Paul broke my fingers on New Years, I had to learn to type and even wipe my own butt, left handed. I did it and now I'm ambidextrious. Dont do things to get injuries anymore. Stop being a psycho! LOL

I have a very dear friend who was born with only one arm and she types very well with one only hand! The only unfortunate thing is that she developed carpal tunnel and is suffering greatly from that....
