Being short for isn't so bad for a girl. Yes many people will probably talk to you as if you are a child but many others will also treat you with respect. For the most part in life, you get to choose you who you want to be around so choose wisely.

Yes, I am in in the same boat. You might grow a little taller though. I would give yourself at least 5 more years because from what I remember at your age you haven't finished growing and developing. I am only 5' 2" and I just have to accept it. I envy those who are taller but I am short and that's just the way will have to be. If people think you are young looking you will appreciate it when you are older =)

When you speak to people, you can show them how mature you are by your words, and they will take you seriously.

I am short also, the nice part of being short, you don't have to worry about being taller that your date. When you get older you will appreciate the fact that you will get carded probably more than your friends because they think your younger, trust me it feels great. I was carded till I was 25.

Being short of stature, is nothing as long as your not being short of mind. And remember your not short you're under tall.

Well yea you are short but you should not be ashamed of it. I am 37 yrs old and only 4'11" and I have never had a problem being short. Most people think I am very cute and I seem to get alot of attention and who doesn't like that?!!! I have never wanted to be anything other then who I am because no one else is just like me and I love being unique!!

You are going to love this problem when you are older. You will get lots of compliments on it. Don't be in a hurry to grow up because of your height. Act serious and people will take you serious. They probably can tell how you feel about your height. As long as you are a good person and have a good, kind attitude, people will pick up on it. You are being your worst critic. Lighten up. You are special and unique. Now act like it. Love yourself first.

If people don't take you seriously because of your height, they are sad and shallow. My sister is 4'11 and she is the smartest person I have ever met in my life. Can't judge a book by its cover. You may be short in stature, but you can have the personality of a giant.

My really good friend is 4'7" and 19 yrs old, and people always ask if she's my sister. Even so, she's just as mature as the rest of my friends and I take her more seriously than some of them. Be glad you can wear heels and not look like an idiot! :)

You might count your blessings someday. Take it from a 6' woman, tall people have back problems and troubles with their feet. We're considered intimidating, fierce and awkward, so there's never any compliments coming our way unless the man is taller. I've never been called :"cute" "cuddly"and "perky" . My son, who is taller than I, loves women under 5 foot, so keep your chin up.

Honey you will keep on growing until you are 18 so you will probably add on another 2". Besides men love to get all macho and protective of small women. I wish I was smaller. Lucky you.

Big deal - short can mean petite and feminine. I had a friend in high school who was 6' 2" and she got paid out badly.
