old enough to shave would have owned one. And yet in everything I have read about life in boarding schools and colleges back in the day I don't recall ever seeing anything about razors. It seems to me that straight razors in a dorm full of young men would be a bloodbath waiting to happen but I have never heard of a single razor related incident. Of course I am not widely read on the pre Gillette era and maybe someone else has heard of such an incident or can explain why it never happened.

I have seen Veet and Nair products in stores, but the problem is they say to test a small spot first. I really don't want to spend 12 plus dollars on a product if there is a chance I can have a reaction to it. I also noticed on there websites Formaldehyde is listed as one of the ingredients.
Is waxing better? Any suggestions maybe for something natural to use :)

Things that make you think a little:

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the
Month of January. That' s just one American city,
About as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq

When some claim that President Bush shouldn't
Have started this war, state the following:

A. FDR led
us into World War II.

B. Germany never attacked us; Japan did.
>From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ..
An average of 112,500 per year.

Truman finished that war and started one in Korea .
North Korea never attacked us.
>From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ...
An average of 18,334 per year.

D. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.
Vietnam never attackd us.

E. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.
>From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ..
An average of 5,800 per year.

F. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.
Bosnia never attacked us.
He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three
Times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on
Multiple occasions.
G. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush
Has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled
Al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who
Slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

The Democrats are complaining
About how long the war is taking
It took less time to take Iraq
than it took Janet Reno
To take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51-day operation.

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
In Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find
The Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the
Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
Than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick

It took less time to take Iraq than it took
To count the votes in Florida !!!!

Our Commander-In- Chief is doing a HARD JOB!
The Military morale is high!

The biased
media hopes we are too ignorant
To realize the facts

But Wait there's more!

JOHN GLENN (ON THE SENATE FLOOR)
Mon, 26 Jan 2004 11:13

Some people still don't understand why military personnel
Do what they do for a living. This exchange between
Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum
Is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive
Impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one
man's explanation of why men and women in the armed
Services do what they do for a living

IS a typical, though sad, example of what
Some who have never served think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum (seaking to Senator Glenn):
"How can you run for Senate
When you've never held a real
job?"

Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
"I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps.
I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions.
My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different
Occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my
Checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was
Not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the
Daily cash receipts to the bank."

"I ask you to go with me ... As I went the other day...
To a veteran's hospital and look those men ...
With their mangled bodies in the eye, and tell THEM
they didn't hold a job!

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA
And go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans
Of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...
And you look those kids in the eye and tell them
That their DADS didn't hold a job.

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in
Arlington National Cemetery, where I have more friends
Buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch
Those waving flags

You stand there, and you think about this
nation,
And you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?

What about you?"

For those who don't remember
During WW.II, Howard Metzenbaum
was an attorney Representing the Communist Party in the USA

Now he's a Senator!

If you can read this, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English
thank a Veteran.

3 men where at the FBI Building for a job interview

The first man walked into the office . The interviewing FBI agent said "To be in the FBI you must be loyal, dedicated, trusting. Your wife is in the next room. I want you to go in there and shoot her with this gun." The man took the gun, hesitated, and said "I can't do it"

The next interviewee came into the office. The Agent said the same thing. The man took the gun, walked into the room, then walked out. "I cant," he said.

The last man came into the office. The interviewer said "To be in the FBI you must be loyal, dedicated, and trusting. Your wife is in the next room. I want you to go in there and shoot her with this gun." The man took the gun and went into the room. The Agent heard 6 shots, silence, then a lot of screaming.

The man came out of the room and said "Someone loaded the gun with blanks so i had to beat her to death with the curtain railing, so, do i get the job?"

Are they implying that God does not control all things including the birth of a son to Abraham ?

Or are they implying something very racist or hateful ?

Islam does not subscribe to any of the racist stories concerning Sarah, Isaac or Ishmael and Hagar.

Islam states that BOTH sons were to be given a covenant with God to make the Lord known to mankind.

Judaism is the covenant given to Isaac.

Islam is the covenant given to Ishmael.

PAUL cut off the Christians from the Covenant :

Genesis 017:009-10 ---Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.

Galatians 05:002 ---- Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

I was just wondering, which of the following theories does Buddhism ashere to most:

1) Animistic Theory (spirits, animae, ancestor worship, Natives)

2) Nature-Worship Theory (observing forces of nature, anthropomorphizing)

3) Original Monotheism Theory (there's a god above all others, one god created the universe)

4) Magic Theory (mankind has gone through 3 phases of development: tried to control nature by magic, magic no longer worked, religion no longer worked now science)

5) Religion as Projected Need Theory (God created in the idealized image of humanity, people seek in heaven what they can;t find on earth)

Tnx :)

I went to a home depot store today in NW USA. Looking up at the aisle directory all the signs were in english AND in spanish. In California there are billboards in spanish. In schools there are classes in spanish and NOW there is a controversy about Mexican immigration? Also, lately there is deep resentment towards Mexicans in the USA? Do many of you people realize that in Chandler, Arizona south of Mesa which is metropolitan area of Phoenix on any given day you can count hundreds of illegal Mexicans standing around waiting for someone to drive by and hire them to do labor jobs. What is strange is that the border patrol will NOT ever drive their buses around and round those people up so doesn't that give you the message that the U.S. government does not want to take Mexicans back to Mexico. If they finish building the border wall do you think they will check ids ?
