I am thinking about getting my ears pierced above the first one I have and at the top of my ear. Does anyone know how much this would cost? Would you recomend getting them both done at the same time, or wait to get the third one done?
Thanks

Why are all Christian Churches banned from the political process?

Why are your Christian Churches barred from campaigning for a particular candidate?

Why are there restrictions on what your Pastor can say from the Pulpit regarding National Politics?

And why has it always been this way, from the very inception of our Nation?

I'm 14, first of all.
Ever since I was about... 9 or so, I've had a problem with almost fainting.
Everything starts to fog out really suddenly and I can't think straight at all. All I can focus on is coming back out of it. I've never actually passed out, but I've fallen over.
I've never drank alcohol or done any kind of illegal drugs, so please don't even bring that into the picture.
What could it be? And no, I haven't ever told my parents about it. It's never bothered me all that much.

For simplicity sake, lets assume a mass equivalent to the earths mass, but the size of a basketball. Now lets assume the lever has no mass of its own, but it is perfectly rigid and will not bend no matter what. Now lets put the fulcrum at 1 meter from the mass we are lifting. And let us assume that the person at the end of the lever is pushing down with 100 kg worth of force. So how long is the lever? I would think it would be measured in light years.

The NHL instituted a rule banning the Florida Panthers from throwing their plastic rats on the ice after crucial goals making it a delay of game penalty against the Panthers if fans were to do it. The reasoning was it delayed the game and it took awhile to clean them up.
Why should this not apply to Detroit fans as well? Seems there is some double standard going on there. Granted, the rats took longer to clean up BUT the octupus tossing still DELAYS THE GAME and it takes time to clean them up. Fans aren't even supposed to be bringing them in but obviously they (security) are turning a blind eye. Also, buddy that comes out picks it up and starts waving it around, firing up the crowd.
I personally don't care if they allow it or not BUT to ban some teams and not others does irk me.

An aquarium nitrites are supposed to remain 0 after establishment of nitrifying bacteria. I checked mine today, it was a little under 0.25 ppm

I've read thats a bad sign caused by something like overfeeding (I don't think I've fed them too much, then again), overstocked tank (I only have 8 serpae) or an inaduequet bio-fliter. If I have a bad bio-filter, I've heard Stress Zyme and aqua salt help a little in lowering nitrites and restoring the bio-filter.

Little Paul went to his mother demanding a new bicycle. His mother decided
that he should take a look at himself and the way he acts. She said, "Well
Paul, it isn't Christmas and we don't have the money to just go out and buy
you anything you want. So why don't you write a letter to Jesus and pray for
one instead." After his temper tantrum his mother sent him to his room. He
finally sat down to write a letter to Jesus.

Dear Jesus,
I've been a good boy this year and would appreciate a new bicycle.

Your Friend,
Paul

Now, Paul knew that Jesus really knew what kind of boy he was (brat), so he
ripped up the letter and decided to give it another try.

Dear Jesus,
I've been an OK boy this year and I want a new bicycle.

Your Truly,
Paul

Well, Paul knew this wasn't totally honest, so he tore it up and tried
again.

Dear Jesus,
I've thought about being a good boy this year and can I have a bicycle?

Yours

Paul

Well, Paul looked deep down in his heart, which by the way was what his
mother really wanted. He knew he had been terrible and was deserving of
almost nothing. He crumpled up the letter, threw it in the trash can and
went running outside. He aimlessly wandered about depressed because of the
way he treated his parents and really considered his actions. He finally
found himself in front of a Catholic Church. Paul went inside and knelt
down, looking around not knowing what he should really do. Paul finally got
up and began to walk out the door and was looking at all the statues. All of
a sudden he grabbed a small one and ran out the door. He went home, hid it
under his bed and wrote this letter.

Jesus,
I've got your mama. If you ever want to see her again, give me a bike!

Sincerely,
You know who

that you don't want to hear her bad-mouth people? My mother talks bad about everybody... other family members, friends, even people she hardly knows or hasn't seen for decades. It drives me crazy. She never has anything good to say, and I get so sick of hearing it. Even though I am an adult, I still have to respect my mother and not be rude to her by saying what's on my mind. Short of not calling her anymore, I don't know what to do. It stresses me out so badly every time I talk to her... I just don't want to hear it anymore. She's easily offended and easily hurt. Any suggestions?

We gave the Iraqis a democracy. Why not let them use it. Why not let them vote on whether or not the U.S. should stay in Iraq. If they say NO, we leave. If they say YES, we stay. Any bets on the outcome of such a vote??

My ones are in Aneurism by Nirvana where the intro takes about a minute and builds tension all the time the releases it. In No One Knows by Queens Of The Stoneage where all the instruments apart from the base all cut out. In The Prodigy's Voodoo People where the guitar riff joins in with the rest of the instruments.

Suppose that you invested $16,000 in a high-risk growth fund that after 2 years was worth $25,000. Your broker used the following equation to find the average annual rate of return, r

16,000(1 + r)^2 = 25,000

What is the annual rate of return?

Hint: Rewrite the equation in standard form, then solve by factoring.
Write your final answer as a %. (there is no negative rate of return so the answer will be positive).

Let f be a continuous function taking positive real values, and set

G(x) = S f(z) dz

limits are from z=x to x^2

Use the chain rule to find G'(x)

Estimate the value of G(x) for values of x near 1. (You should do more than just give the value of lim x-->1 G(x).

Answer: I can do the first bit, G'(x) = 2x f(x^2) - f(x).

But I can't figure out the second bit where the answer is :

G(1) = 0 and G'(x) = f(1) > 0. Thus an approximation to G(x) near x=1 is

G(x) approximately equals to G(1) + (x-1)G'(!) = (x-1) f(1)

Why is this so?
