My ones are in Aneurism by Nirvana where the intro takes about a minute and builds tension all the time the releases it. In No One Knows by Queens Of The Stoneage where all the instruments apart from the base all cut out. In The Prodigy's Voodoo People where the guitar riff joins in with the rest of the instruments.

There's a bit in Massive Attack's "Unfinished Sympathy" where the strings, previously ominous and somnolent in the background, spring to the fore during an instrumental break and then fade back as if nothing had happened. That gets me each time.

And the bit in Mogwai's "King Herod" after about 3 minutes where the song just suddenly goes berserk!

Bat Out Of Hell

I never see the sudden curve etc

Intro of Mosquito's Song (Queens of Stone Age), and the opening riff of Badge (Cream). All of the Master's Song (Leonard Cohen), driving acoustic accompanies chilling, dark and bitter lyrics sung in that angry growl just walks the shivers up and down my spine.

A few, I'm a music addict.

The feeling that
"speed of sound" by Coldplay leaves in me is hard to shake.
"beautiful" by James blunt, has become cheesy but is just gives me feel good in the soul
"cryin" bu aerosmith, the most ugly guy in the world but darn voice with feeling
and a few Portuguese one yo would,t know, but try it if you are interested
"angel song" by silence 4 -they were a Portuguese group that split up
and some in Portuguese

told you I was addicted!!!

the guitar solo from the great Dave Gilmour on comfortably numb - also the intro is very atmospheric. Also the track 'cancer' on MCR's Black Parade Album if only because it reduces me to tears.

The second chorus to Stone Sour's "Cardiff," and the guitar solo that follows it. Those parts always give me chills no matter how many times I listen to that song.

You can't kill my mind
A man delivered
can never make his way in darkness
I know tonight will end
but I won't give this life away
I won't give this life away AGAIN
A man surrendered
can never find his own forgiveness
I know my life will end
but I won't give tonight away
I won't give tonight away again.
