I'm 14, first of all.
Ever since I was about... 9 or so, I've had a problem with almost fainting.
Everything starts to fog out really suddenly and I can't think straight at all. All I can focus on is coming back out of it. I've never actually passed out, but I've fallen over.
I've never drank alcohol or done any kind of illegal drugs, so please don't even bring that into the picture.
What could it be? And no, I haven't ever told my parents about it. It's never bothered me all that much.

There's also a possibility I could have an anxiety disorder passed down from my dad, or blood pressure issues also from him, if that helps any.

hmmm...this happens to me often as well, and I finally figured out what it was. Its a sign of malnutriton. If you are a "picker" and don't eat alot or just feel you don't ever need to eat (which is how I am, I just don't like eating, but I have to), then start eating stuff that can keep you going for a while, like big helpings of pasta, grains, you see what I'm saying. If that isn't the case, then you should tell you parents, there could be something else wrong and you need to consult a doctor.

It should be bothering you - and you do need to tell your parents - you could be anaemic - and that`s no joke. You need to go to the doctor`s and be tested. It`s to do with your blood. Go online and type in anaemia and it will tell you about it - see if you have the symptoms. Good luck - and take care of your health - you only get one life you know - this isn`t a trial run ! x

You really should let your mom know so that she can take you to the doctor. I had the same thing when I was your age. The doctor might want to do some blood tests, but it's worth it if they can find out what is causing your black outs.

if its like everything turns kind of black and your head feels kinda light than its caused by low blood pressure. If that is what your talking about it happens to me too and im only 15. If i get up too fast it happens to me and i have to stand where i am for like 30 seconds. If i were you I would tell my parents.

You should tell your parents. Could be a blood disorder, easily treatable. Get to a doctor. If you do faint, you could fall and hit your head. This is nothing to be ashamed of.

It sounds to me like it could very likely be a form of migraines...
migraines are often associated with headaches, but they can in fact have a large variety of symptoms, including the ones you're describing here.
You should probably attempt to see a doctor about it.

Fainting spells should not be taken lightly. The causes can be anything relating to brain. Tell your parents and get yourself examined.....good luck.
