It may be the best that the Democrats can come up with but it is very risky.
1. In order to win the Democrats are going to have to take a state or two in the south. While I am not saying they would not vote for a African American and a woman....I am not sure the Democrats would be in any kind of advantage by doing this.
2. Oboma is not well known, as to long term disposition, or whether he would consistently support Hillary in a Presidential role.
3. Both Hillary and Obama are perceived by some to be controversial and to the left of the political spectrum. A more moderate vice presidential choice may bring more appeal to the ticket.
4. It is too early to tell. Obama has not been through the gauntlet as yet. It may turn out he has what is needed for such a position but that is not known as yet.
5. Lets be frank. Obama and Hillary have the same political supporters (ie. if Obama is the candidate chosen Hillary supporters will endorse Obama and vica versa). A combined ticket like this is not likely to increase their support at all.

While it may help lighten the public's opinion of Hilary Clinton if Barack Obama were on the ticket, it will not happen. Both Hillary and Barack have both said they are not running as Vice President and they both want the Presidency. Since they are both strong enough to run on their own tickets, most political advisors would never run them together. The only way that it could possibly happen is if one of them gets a unbeatable lead before primaries. Then whichever of them has no chance, may change their mind about running as a VP.

Obama and Clinton with an alternative reverse order is unbeatable in the coming elections. The duo has the experienced tandem and the popularity to bank on.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Obama and Clinton will likely win.

Obviously, this ticket is inevitable. It is going to happen and it is going to be t he overwhelming favorite. Americans have finally realized that republicans are only going to further the war in Iraq. It is funny how just a few months ago, the same Americans were die hard favorites of this regime and commended everything they did.
Bottom line is that no republican candidate is going to have enough support to overcome the Obama-Clinton tag-team. Whether it is Obama President and Clinton Vice President or vice versa. Either way, it is going t be interesting to see an African American and a Woman in office.

Anything with Clinton in it will fail.
Obama I'm fine with, just not Clinton anywhere on the ticket.

I think the best thing for the Democratic party and the country would be a RICHARDSON/OBAMA ticket. But that's just me.

I dont think Hillary will run for VP.
I think that Obama would be better off staying in the senate if he doesnt get the nomination for president.

I would never, mind you NEVER vote for Clinton. Maybe Obama, but I need to have more info.... Somethings I am in agreement with him, but there is too much left unknown for me to give him my support.

It might be the best that the Democrats could come up with, but I would not vote for it. Much of Obama's thinking is still not known, and what is known I do not agree with.
