Ad hominems and name calling only reveal the ignorance and desperation of those who use them. So many contributors here rely SOLELY upon these and they don't even realize how foolish they appear. It takes a real lack of confidence to resort to childish and nasty insults. Being rude and ugly only makes one less persuasive, and appear immature and uneducated. Frankly, I have seen most of the ad hominems and emotional name calling come from those who attack religious views. Why don't the emotional hurlers of insults feel secure enough to explain themselves in an intelligent and mature way? Can we not have meaningful dialog in the place of the emotional, juvenile content that fills R & S? Can anyone answer me without getting emotional or without blaming someone else for your rude ad hominems?

i usually get a size 32DD but have never actually been measured professionally. this size tends to be comfy but my boobs 'pop out' a bit on the inside (like cleavage area). the cup size seems to be ok but i just need the cups to be closer together in the centre (i think). so what should i change the back size or the cup?

He can be the most loving person in the world and next he is acting wierd hallucinations, delusions and violence. Just out of the blue and the next day he won't remeber a thing, reallyhe will not remember a thing. I think that his biological mother had it she lost it when he was 5 and things were never then same - she still does strange things from what we hear.
so can it be that he has schizophrenia? I don't know anything about it, how would I find out and what can I do?

Okay i have asked people if i have an eating disorder. Some think i do some dont. One girl thought i had eating disorder NOS. I am 13 yr old girl. I was weighing around 100 pounds but i just weighed my self and im 97 pounds. I think that im fat. I check the scale 5-10 times a day. Obsess about exciricising and calories. So what exactly is "Eating Disorder NOS" i want lots of details, please!!
if i dont have NOS do u guys think i have a problem and should seek help?

tonails are vsery brittle, they break off and peel of easily

There's this cat that's been hanging around the dorms as of late and some of my friends brought her in just because we really shouldn't! Well yesterday morning(like around 6am) the cat jumped through my window(or someone put her in the window) and I fed her and watered her and groomed her. I was gone all day but left the window open for her. I didn't see her until this afternoon just appearing from under the parked car next to the college dorms. So I picked her up and snucked her into my window lol and fed her and gave her water.

Next week school will be out and I'll be getting an apt. that doesn't accept pets so should I:

Let her loose or give her to the humane society?

Okay..I have a 2 year old bichon frise FEMALE...who accidentally scratched to hard and is bleeding from the left ear..at the end...It's a small scratch..but everytime she shakes..a lot blood comes out...I don't think she needs stiches...I have been washing it..I passed a little rubbing alcohol..I even held it tight to see if the bleeding stops which it does but when she shakes her head hard..it continues to bleed...How can I heal this? The vets are closed..the one next to me is closed down..And I don't want to go to the ASPCA thinking I did some damage to her

Several months ago my hubby sustained a serious back injury. He had to file for social security. When we got our first letter of denial ( which was no suprise) it listed all the things he had wrong with him. In those diagnosis a descending aortic anneruysm was listed. I called his doctor and asked for the nurse to look thru the record to see when this was found. I got no answer. I then wrote a letter asking when was this discovered? A few weeks later we get a letter stating " due to you complex medical history I can not treat you anymore, you need to see a doctor that can better suit your medical needs" We have an appt with the social security lawyer next week and I am going to ask to see the MRI's and CT scans that he has. I want to know when the anerurysm was discovered . Do I have the right to seek legal counsil due to the fact that the doctor was neglegent in not telling us. If he is not guilty why did he drop my husband after seeing him for 5 years? Any opinions?

A few people in YA have implied that it wouldn't matter whether evidence supported or contradicted their religion--they would believe no matter what.

To me such an attitude suggests that the person really doesn't care about the truth, they care about their religion.

But I thought religion taught people to hunger for truth (about God, the universe, etc.). Am I missing something?

What tools will I need to replace the main powersteering pressure hose and what are the steps to replace it? I am not a mechanic but I am familiar with changing oil for my car, replacing radiator fan, replacing thermostat, replacing fuel filter, replacing air filter, etc. With my level of expertise, how much more difficult is it to replace the main pressure hose for the powersteering? Do I have to drain the fluid first? Should I wrap up the alternator to avoid spills into it? etc.
