Is it best to just enter the cd code on the free version, or un-install and re-install using the CD. Is there any benifets to using the CD over the free version

either way your going to get all the great things that came with it. your best bet is to have gone with someone else norton is a resource hog. youll see in a couple months.

Just enter the CD code, the free version is no different than what is on the CD, and this will save you the time of uninstalling and reinstalling and having to update.

if you uninstall the program
you may loose all the program updates and virus definitions
but you can run the update again
these are the problems you may have
decision is yours .
