Ever since I turned 40 I have noticed if I have one drink or two I have no issues. When I overindulge at a party I get home and fall asleep then I wake up with very fast palpitation and it is scary. I find it hard to catch my breath which cause more panic. I have had a heart moniter, ekg, and everything looked great. I am very athletic so this is puzzling me.
I know that they figured it was a bit of panic or anxiety but I have noticed other people suffer from this. Why does the alcohol do that to me?

Shortly Gordon Brown will become the Prime Minister of Britain. Although I agree it was New Labour people voted for not Blair. My question is that "should a leadership change automatically trigger a general election?".

I am leaning towards New Leader = New public vote at the moment.

I wrote those words, over 15 Years ago. It's always been my way of getting myself moritvated, after a sever setback, of some kind.
When Poeple attempt to "stack the Deck" against you? How do you react? When others, try to bring you down to thier level. How do you keep them from winning?
We all have our own different ways of becoming motivated in how we get on with Life. How do you get yourself going. After you've had a setback. or a real hard disapointment, in your life?

My favorite movie scene in a courtroom is in"Sommersby"(1993)starring Richard Gere and Jodie Foster.Richard,as John Sommersby is in court on charges of attempting to impersonate the husband of Laural Sommersby played by Jodie,to attain the property and livelihood of John.As a returning soldier in the Post-civil War south,John's identity is called into question by suspicions held by his supposed wife Laural and the towns-folk.They believe this is a con-man who stole John Sommersby's identity after John was killed in the war,but knew him enough to save valuable information about his life and personality.Having a similar look of John(if he is a con-man),the small hometown all gather to greet him as he returns from the Civil War at the films start.Once in court,Laural(Jodie Foster)takes the stand.She is cross-examined by John's attorney with the question;Laural why do you say this man is not your husband?Re:I know he is not because I love this man!

Hi all

Wonder if anyone has any words of wisdom for me, im 30 and currently doing a reasonably well paid job. However im not exactly feeling fulfilled. I left school at 16 not knowing what i wanted to do and to be honest i still dont other than this isnt it!!! Anyone know of any online resources where i can look at suitable careers for me based upon my skills......... Or for that matter any home study suppliers so i can add to my skills?

K Ive been dating a fantastic guy for the last few weeks - he seems besotted with me- constantly tells me he loves me and we are getting on fantastic - I have no problems with him and we are madly in love and spend every spare minute we have together. However - his brothers girlfriend is starting to bug me - herself and his brother live together and according to my bf are madly in love - however when we meet them she makes a point of standing in between us - gazing up at him and ignoring her bf to speak to mine. I said this to my bf who was shocked at me being jealous as he said there is nothing between him and her - but the more I see her the more I think shes into him - he does nothing to encourage her from what I can see - but shes really annoying me. She rings him for no reason as well - can you guys please help? AM I being paranoid over nothing or do you think she fancies him? Should I be worried?
