(did you see that answer about the American scouts girls? apparently if you join it, you can use their facilities for $40 per night... that still works out as 20GBP but I reckon that's the cheapest you'll get...)

I'd be frightened for my health and safety in any hotel that was £15 a night in Central London, sorry to say. You better option is to look at a hostel, or find something that is a little farther out, say in tube zone 2. You can still zip around central london on a zone1-2 pass, but you won't pay the obscene rates of London hotels.
You can sometimes get £25 a night at EasyHotel and that is pretty central

That is going to be very hard to find. London is super expensive. Try checking out any hostels or go to www.lastminute.com

have a look here & see what u can find...but i honestly don`t think you`ll find one for less than at least 30-35 pounds, & that`s a conservative estimate...
