I can understand a senior citizen working during retirement if he or she TRULY needs the money, but many people that do not need the extra money go back to part-time or full-time work anyway. These retired people are also payed a lower salary and I think it just hurts younger people who could benefit more from the job the "retired" person is doing. In addition, many older people can't do the more physically-demanding jobs as well, so this places an extra burden on younger people working around the person (to make up for the physical demands not met by the retired person). Anyway, to me it just seems that, if an older person who doesn't need the extra money is just bored, they should do volunteer work or something and let the younger people have the jobs that pay the bills.

don't know how to feel about this situation,but what happened was I met this guy, a few months ago, and he told me found me to be attractive, and a cool person to hang out with and to call him if I wanted to go out.I finally did, after a month of giving it some thought, and took him up on his offer, so the first things he says is that he's broke, and in a few weeks we'll hang out, then a few weeks past, and he tells me something came up, and he will let ME know when he has time, so a few months past, and I run into him again, and he asks me when is he gonna let him take me out, and he aplogizes says he's been going throguh some things, so we set a date, he calls me a few days later, and tells me he's had some deaths in the family, and when he runs into me again we'll aset another date,I run inot him again he doesn't brings it up, and he tells me that i should have came over to him and said Hello, and during the conversation he doesn't bring it up, so i bring it up he's still clamini

he's tells me that he's broke and he can't afford nothing at this time because he ahd bills, and he wants me to know that he wants me around and soon as he gets on his feet. "it's on and cracking" and I asked him if Iiked me more than a friend, and he tells me no he says that he thinks that I'm good looking and cool but doesn't want to pursue a serious relationship with me.. but on his myspace page the very next day he changed his status to "in a relationship" and this girl leaves comments on his page and stuff, and she leaves this comment saying I can't wait to see you in a few weeks, and I miss you, and we're going have alot of fun when we go out, and I'm thinking he was straight lying about about being broke...so I deleted him as my friend, erased his number, Do you think I was being too harsh?

OK.. Why do some people feel that tips should be given at a restaurant no matter what? I saw a person saying how much they would tip based on service and quality of the meal... Which in all reality makes sense to me.. HOWEVER.. they said that.. if the meal was terrible and the service was awful, then the tip would only be 10-12% of the total...

WHY?!!? Why would you give ANY tip to someone who provided you awful service? They're not doing their job properly, they don't deserve it!

A tip is a 'gift'. It is something that is given OVER AND ABOVE what the waiter/waitress already gets paid for doing their job.. It should be given based on what they did for you, not just because people think it's 'proper' to do!

Yes, I understand they work hard.. But don't forget, they are PAID to do that work.. Like any other job, they must be paid AT LEAST minimum wage. If they do their job well, give them that 'gift'.

Okay this is what is happening. My boyfriend has a troubled 15 yr old son who is in and out of juvey. They ordered for him to have a counselor. When they sat it up they said EVERYTHING would be confidential that the son would talk about w/ her and nothing would be discussed w/ anyone. He told her so many personal things and stuff he has never told anyone. Im sure alot a it was bad. But he did it because he was told none of it can be discussed w/ any 1 else and no 1 could find out about it.
Well he is in big trouble and they are planning on taking him out of the home for a year or so. At the last court date the judge ordered all of the paperwork from the counselor so he could look over it w/ the probation officer.
My b/f thinks its illegal b/c he was told it was confidential. He is looking for proof that it is illegal cuz hes "certain" it is. He said if he finds it is then he will be able to have a diff. judge for his son and he may not be taken away. Is this illegal?

Please help! Columbia Co. is real bad at what they are suppose to do. Here's the thing; they do not allow calls to your case worker. They say you must write a letter requesting that they look into your case. But they are not getting back to me either. So I called the D.A. to see if I could file contempt of court through them ; and they said they need a referrel from Child Suppport. But they are no help either. i cant under stand how these prisoners get drugs into the prison from there visitors ,there should be a barrior between them and the visitor like glass where there is no contact,and thay should build these new prisons in the west coast of scotland on an island ,and have 2 visiting wrights every 3 months, thay are in prison for braking the law so pay the price ,this country is to soft with these nutters
