Hi , my son is having his First Communion this weekend and we have to make a banner with a saying and a simple graphic. Like "eucharist" with a chalice or "He is the light of the world". Ok I want to do something my son would dig but not be way off. Like "Soul Power with a fist clenching a rosary. Or "Join today Club Jesus" With Jesus on a computer screen.
Any ideas?.

Can anyone reccomend a good salon in Harlem? Not too expensive...

For somewhow a week now and I'm planning to continue, I've been doing this routing for my diet: I do 100 crunches and 30 or 40 push ups per day. I'm cutting off eating snacks and junks. I only eat during the three meals, and I've been eating a lot of fruits lately (watermelons to be specific). Is this enough for me to see some improvements in my body? Or do I need to push myself more?

I bought my first home on October 31, 2006. It is a good starter home but I'm not crazy about the neighborhood/area and I want to plan on moving within the next year or so. I can qualify now for a much nicer home and I'm sure I will be able to qualify for even more within the next year.

There are many things I would like to do with the home while I am in it but I don't want to put too much money into it because I worry that I won't get the same amount in return due to the neighborhood. The things I am sure that need to be done are painting the entire house and new carpet in some rooms. I would like new light fixtures (the existing ones are brass) and things like that but don't want to spend money where it is not needed. I plan on doing some landscaping to make the exterior look more presentable.

I would just like to know what projects I should invest money in and what projects I can go without doing to make the home presentable to sell without putting too much money into it.

I go to school in a VERY small country town (300 people in the WHOLE town) so my school has like 73 kids (Pre-k THORUGH 12th grade) Anyways, EVERYONE BUT ME at my school wears boots and wranglers and "tawks lak dis". I dress punk rock and I have to stand up for myself ALL THE TIME because people here can NOT read, and I LOVE to read so I get called "gay" because I read 4 books in 4 weeks. Heres the REAL problem though, I CANT wear my nose, eyebrow, or lip ring, but OTHER people can have cans of "tabacca" and pocket knives and the damn principal does NOTHING. Ive tried to contact a higher up person, but it seems like they dont care. I live in Texas BTW, is there some MAJOR school board I can talk to about this?? Im serious. IM so sick of this. When people mess with me, they dont get punished, but as soon as I stand up for myself, I get sent to the office! And I dont even cuss or anything!! The pricipal hates me because Im "satanic" and so do the teahers. What can I do?

I can understand Christians or Muslims or people of any other religion being offended if something is said against them, if they feel an inaccurate statement has been said about their beliefs, et cetera. But why do people make arguments by saying, "This offends God?" Wouldn't it really offend an all-knowing, all-powerful God to think you know what he thinks?

As a Pagan, I have more respect for people who say, "This offends me as a Christian" rather than "This offends God." It just makes more sense and sounds more honest to me.
