Compare these drums for me?

Ok drum freaks what is better a drum set or the drum pads please give me ups and downs about both of these and try to compare them! thanks

The Drumset is the real deal, and is the most fun to bang on. The problem is that it is very loud and can disturb the neighbors if you are living close enough (Townhouse, apartment).

The Electric Drumset (i hope you mean this and not the drum pad...which is used only for practice and barely makes sound) is ideal for volume control and different sound effects...and you can plug in the headphones and play silently.

I prefer playing the Acoustic Drumset...nothing beats the original sound. But since I live in an appartment, I would be forced to go with the electric set...so at least I can practice at any hour and not worry about any complaints. But if you don't have to worry about noise...seriously, go for the drumset.

I'd say you've really got to go for Acoustic--unless you just can't possible handle the noise levels. If that's the case, electronic drum pads are obviously an alternative (and realistically, if you're drummer is into hip-hop/techno it may even be a better option) but try and buy the nicest one's you can afford. But the feel and sound of an acoustic kit is (in my opinion) untouchable by the electric ones.

the drum pads are not just playing the drums. its just practice
i dont know how to put this into answer form.
the drum set is definately better.
