How is invoking the holy spirit substantially different from invoking Pagan deities?

I keep hearing born-again Christians talking about their profound experience feeling the holy spirit enter them. As a Pagan, I have invoked deities, and the feeling that they describe sounds pretty much the same as what I felt, except that for me it's deeply personal, and they just keep talking about it with anyone who will listen. Is there some way in which the invocations are different? Is the belief that they are different based on something other than the arrogant belief that one deity is superior to another deity?

I asked this question before, but all the answers either congratulated me for asking the question, or dismissed it based on their belief that their God is the only real God. No one actually answered the question, so I'm asking again in the hope that someone will actually be able to explain the difference.

Laser Hair Removal...?

Would you recommend laser hair removal on a darker complexion? I've been doing some research and they say dark-skinned people are not the best canidates for laser hair removal. Any advise? Has anyone that's dark skinned ever had a laser removal?

i used to be a big john cena fan but , 2 years now we have seen him with the belt. why is the WWE completely behind this guy ? i dont think that even stonecold himself held it for this long period of time. i mean enough is enough find a heel or a big name and let them wear it for awhile .does anyone know whats going thru the wwe head execs minds? who is writing this crap? come on back HHH its time for the game to be started once again

Why do so many argue the bible without reading it ALL first?

I have not read it all as to the fact the Church took chapters out to suite their way of life in that particular time period. Example: the chapter of Lilith? The bible was meant to bring us together, and teach the golden rules... at least that's what I hope and believe.

Mike was going to be married to Karen,

So his father sat him down for a little chat.

He said, "Mike, let me tell you something. On my wedding night in our

honeymoon suite I took off my pants, handed them to your mother,and

said,

"Here - try these on."

She did and said,

'These are too big, I can't wear them.

" I replied, "Exactly, I wear the pants in this

family and I always will."

"Ever since that night we never had any problems."

"Hmmm," said Mike. He thought that might be a good thing to try. On

honeymoon, Mike took off his pants and said to Karen,

"Here - try these on." She tried them on and said, "These are too

large.

They don't fit me."
