Muslim men must cover from the navel to the knee. Muslim women must "throw their cloaks around themselves when out in public," effectively covering everything but their hands, feet and the oval of their face.

How is that fair? And why is it necessary in 2007? I understand the original purpose, the idea behind it (so that men do not get tempted by women) - but in Western society today, a woman dressed conservatively (long pants or skirt, long sleeves) is not stared at, thus making covering her hair unnecessary. Why then, the specific rules? Are the dictates of the Qur'an really for all time, or is it being interpreted incorrectly?

Ok, so. This gray male cat has been hanging around our neighborhood/house fo close to 2 years now. We know he has always stolen our other cats food, it's not a big deal. In the past 6 months or so he has become alot frienlier towards us and me in particular. He comes every morning to eat and almost every night. About 2.3-3 months ago he got a wound on the underside of his neck, I'm pretty sure it began as a puncture wound, but it got infected and now it's a gaping cut. Like he got his face dragged under a tire for a few feet. It is on the whole side of his neck, red, puffy, pussy, the skin around it is burning hot. It is definately infected. It has been getting worse over the last couple months, and I feel bad b/c I can't clean it or take him to the vet b/c I'mk the only one that can touch him anywhere but his head, and he won't let me rinse his neck, I've tried. I asked the vet about it finally, I know its late, and he gave me some orabax to give hime everyday, it seems to help.

at the moment i am in a vicious circle of having low self esteem and confidence. I long to have a bf and never been in a proper relationship with a guy and just want ot know what its like. I see couples and i just long for that closeness and intimacy. I believe that my roof need a new layer of asphalt shingles. They are not curling yet, but they are about 12-15 years old and they have been repaired a few times, etc. Is it okay to put a second layer of shingles over the top of the old? Do I have to wory about re flashing the chimney, etc?

I was sitting on my bed messing around on my laptop, when all of a sudden I looked up at my vanity and someone...or something...was walking across it. It was pure white, and you could sort of see through it. He looked almost exactly like my Poppop, who has been dead for 19 years.

A few days later, my neighbor said that she saw her brother, who was 16 and has been dead for about a month now. The thing is, we live in Virginia and our neighbors brother lived in Puerto Rico and my Poppop lived in Delaware. Our houses are failry new. (2001) What could it be?

everybody around the world perform sterilisation procedures
for their pets[dogs].as a pet carer i have noticed dogs
mate only during the heat cycles .if we neuter a male dog
hormones may not be produced in its body so it cannot identify a female dogs urinary smell so how can it will mate? if
we sterilise a female we are completely removing its ovaries
so it wont come to heat and hormones may not be produced in its body then how will it mate? its important to avoid
unwanted litters but at the same time our sterilisation procedures are affecting their natural living and they are kept
as a dolls in our homes for our entertainment.vets should
follow or discover a procedure which will not affect their
natural wellbeing instead of seeing our selfishness.
