They will play one game then play again three days later and they don't even have to travel. I could understand if there was a travel day in there, but most times there is not.

It is because of the TV money mostly. The series are set up so there are games every night to maximize TV revenue. The opening series used to be best of 5 series, not best of 7 as they are now for the same reason. I would like the pro BB season to end much sooner myself.

It all boils down to money my friends! The NBA wants the fans to not only watch their team, but to watch all the teams.
As the playoffs move on, they will play just about every other day, as their are less teams.

playoffs are the best and every game is important. why would you want it to end? its like a sifting out process where the best teams rise to the top..

Well, they need to practice and everything. That's just how it goes. They also need to fit in the schedule so that viewers can view other games too.

40 games in 40 nights... it's not that easy. Plus they hav to rest, practice and whatever media stuff they have to take care of.
