I was sitting on my bed messing around on my laptop, when all of a sudden I looked up at my vanity and someone...or something...was walking across it. It was pure white, and you could sort of see through it. He looked almost exactly like my Poppop, who has been dead for 19 years.

A few days later, my neighbor said that she saw her brother, who was 16 and has been dead for about a month now. The thing is, we live in Virginia and our neighbors brother lived in Puerto Rico and my Poppop lived in Delaware. Our houses are failry new. (2001) What could it be?

No, my neighbor did not know about what I saw before what she saw. Also, just today I was in my parents bathroom doing my hair and I saw something pass the door. What could it be? This IS a serious question!

Not sure what you saw .... I think I saw a ghost when I was a child but even so I am not sure I did.

When I moved into my new apt I kept seeing things out of the corner of my eye at night. I would turn suddenly and nothing was there. It became quite unnerving until I realised it was car headlights way in the distance dancing patterns off the reflections of my windows and mirrors

As to your neighbour, it is not uncommon for recently bereaved people to think they see a recently departed loved one. It's part of grieving that is known as 'searching' so your neighbour may be unconsciously looking for his/her son. Losing a child is considered the most painful bereavement and it wouldn't be surprising if your neighbour were in fact 'searching' for the child and sometimes mistakenly imagining that he/she has seen him.

I myself went as far as going up to a person on the street and tapping them on the shoulder because I was sure it was my recently departed friend.

Denial is a part of grief and the psychologist divide grief into five distinct stages: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.

Denial, the first stage, is disbelief and an unwillingness to accept the person is gone.

You might have a ghost.. If the house is new they could have been built where there is a history of death.. Do a search on the neighbourhood and find out about what it was before the houses were built.

I think someone from the great beyond may be trying to contact you. I am being serious maybe they are trying to contact you to warn you about something or just to let you know that they are okay. You may be have subconsciously thinking about them a lot lately too.

Someone is visiting you. Maybe it's your Poppop, or it could be someone else. I wouldn't worry about it. Don't give it too much recognition tho.

Omg, were you scared? That's freaky!!! I know that my skin would be picked clean off my bones!

That reminds me that once when I was in bed, I woke up and on my sofa-bed was this glow in the dark thing. Next morning, I woke up and nothing was there that could glow in the dark.

you could miss him and so then your mind is playing tricks on you , but there is such things as ghosts
if you felt realy cold when you saw it, it probably was a ghost because they take your body heat and then you can see them
