Today he said that if Congress tries to push another bill containing "that which I've said is unacceptable, of course I won't accept it."

Why is he the only person in the country allowed to determine whether something is acceptable or not? He's not a freaking king. This is not a dictatorship.

Isa 19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
Isa 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

We are a family of five with one in diapers. My grocery bill, cleaning supplies, diapers, everything included is nearly $1000.00 per month. I have one child that is allergic to dairy. Any suggestions on how to cut costs. I make from scratch as much as possible. Don't buy much prepackaged, and I buy in bulk. Where else can I cut costs? Any suggestions .....

It's real easy to talk the talk...who can't do that. It's easy to walk the walk...if someone's looking. Can you do it when there is no one looking? Can you do it because it's right? I bet I get a lot of self righteous answers...anyone here not perfect? I'm not!

From the headlines:

"United Methodist Church criticized for pro-abortion alliance"

The pro-abortion group is supported by several mainline Christian denominations, including the United Methodist Church.

Mark Tooley with the Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD) says this alliance between the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and the United Methodist Church does not make sense. But unfortunately, he notes, "this has been the trend among liberal mainline Protestant denominations over the last 40 years."

Or simply a mistake.

If the car killed say 650,000 people would it be the buyers fault for believing the report? Or the selers fault for knowingly producing the false report?

I'm looking at buying my first car. I could put up with a car, but if fuel economy wasn't a big issue, I'd really like a truck. I found out you can get an old Dodge Dakota for as little as a Honda Civic(my car of choice) But what's the fuel economy of the Dakota. I don't want to spend all my money on fuel. Probably I'm looking at two generations ago, like 1990. If anybody has any experience with these, I'd really appreciate it.
