Government protect us! That's funny they can't do that look at what happened on 9-11 and as for the cell phones yes they protect you by listening to every word you say and store it!

Hre we go again! Everybody complains about the govt getting more and more involved with our personal lives,Illegal wiretapping, we're losing our privacy, etc etc.
Yet everybody wants the govt to "do something about it"
The govt already has done something to protect consumers. if cell phones turn out to be dangerous, there's the legal system and the concept of "product liability."
To anwer your question, there are times where cell phones are dangerous, such as, when driving.

Yes

There is no reason for the Government to do "something" to protect consumers so hopefully the answer to your second question is nothing

I think consumers should protect themselves if they feel they need to. Why do we need the government to protect us, and to make our decisions for us? They meddle too much as it is.

There far from save. If anyone has a 800mhz scanner or higher they can hear you. For a safer feeling about using them dont talk about anything sensitive on them.
