About one month ago I handed three letters to the mailman (power bill, water bill, and credit card bill). He was standing at the mailbox filling everyone else's mail and said he would take mine, so I handed the letters to him. Well yesterday I get a notice from the power company saying they are shutting my power off. Then today I find out my c.c. is past due. I put two and two together and remembered that I handed the letters to him. I don't know what he did w/ them, but my bills never got paid. Tomorrow, I probably won't have water too. I have never paid late on any of my bills, so hopefully my credit won't be affected. What kind of recourse do I have for this (if any)?

Indian judiciary is becoming too sensitive day by day. The kissing inciedent between Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere is just a simple thing. When the inciedent happend in Kanpur what made the Jaipur Magistrate to react. Section 294 of IPC is a cognizable offence and with out a complaint from victim court can't do any thing. Without the appearance of Gere the proceedings will be quashed by either Rajashtan High Court of if not Supreme Court of India will do it. Come on Indian Judiciary move on there is nothing wrong in a person kissing on the cheek even though it is in public.

My cat was messing with a bird looks like a female finch ( http://animals.timduru.org/dirlist/bird/misc/SudiaBirdPhoto_089-PurpleFinch-Female.jpg ) something like that. It is about 3 inches so I am assuming it is not a baby. The only thing is it seems really mellow which i wouldn't incorporate with a adult wild bird. What should i try to do with it such as feeding and watching over it. It doesn't fly but has flapped its wings...it doesn't seem hurt just maybe alittle shocked. What should I do

What was the one episode of Dirty Jobs that was so gross that it almost made you change the channel?

Does it bother anyone else about how many questions are asked regarding the health of a pet and it always ends with "I can't afford to take him to the vet..." 95% of the time, the pet needs veterinary attention!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Don't have pets if you can't afford to PROPERLY care for them!!!!!
