We live in Opp, AL. My Suburban broke down at the local gas station and my husband and I informed the attendant that we needed to go and get help taking it home and we'd be back for it. We locked the truck up and left. When we returned, the attendant informed us that the cops from nearby Andalusia had been out there with a drug dog trying to pry our windows down and using a tire tool to break in through the back door of our Suburban. Then today, when my husband had the Suburban at work. He and his boss had left to get a part for a car they were working on. He had left the Suburban unlocked and when they returned, the same cops had showed up with a detective and had the doors open on the truck and were rummaging through it. We called the Andalusia detective that had been at the scene and all he would tell us is that he was looking for the driver of our Suburban. My husband told him that that was him. The detective said that he was not looking for my husband. We carry nothing illegal.

I feel silly, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with the "College Question" and figured I might as well ask random strangers as not.

Right. I'm a junior, and here's where I stand:

- My GPA is about 4.6 weighted and 3.8 unweighted.
- SAT: 600 math, 700 writing, and 800 verbal.
- I've taken two AP/college level courses and will take 3-5 more next year.
- I was accepted into the NHS.
- I'm not really in clubs, but I've done a weekly volunteer thing for three years now.


I have no earthly clue where I want to go or what I want to do or who I want to be. Really. None!

I would prefer to stay on the East Coast, but am thinking about venturing further.

Coed is fine, but I'd also be fine with an all-girls school.

Could any of you fine people provide me with guidance? Advice? Anecdotes? Schools to avoid?

If so, I'm much obliged to you.

I am invited to a pot luck dinner party and the host is serving spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer and pork tenderloin for the main dish. Someone is bringing a salad, side dish and desert. I signed up to bring another appetizer but not sure what to bring. I don't want to have another dip. I thought about brushetta but my hubby doesn't like tomatoes and I want to bring something he will like. Any suggestions?

ive been having very strange dreams lately about topics, topics i have never even thought of in real life untill these dreams crept up. i have been going through stressfull times lately, and am well aware that is a contributing factor. i have talked to theripists about it. i tell them what i know they are going to say and they say "youve got it all figured out" then offer me solutions but none of them work. these dreams are creepy. for the first time since i was like, ten, im waking up crying, screaming, and most recently i was actually fighting my fiance in my sleep, hitting him and all. (i wasnt fighting him in my dream, but he had his arm around me so it filterd in). nothing the theripists have given me helps, how can i stop this? i am loosing sooo much sleep over it

I found it in northwest Minnesota, in a dirt hill where they're building new homes, it looks like quartz or crystal or something... it's about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide, roundish, and they're spikey crystaly things jutting out of it, some of these chucks that spike out are tiny and some are about an inch long. the color is a goldish, tan. Any ideaS?
