I am curious as to what process each of you employed, either intentionally or coincidentally, to determine your particular faith as correct. For some, this may have led to a conversion, and for other this may have been a confirmation of faith they were originally introduced to.

For myself, it is a continuous process through discussions of religious and philosophical matters with others. I wonder if this was significantly more cerebral than other people's experiences.

It's optional on the order at no extra charge. Is it made optional because some people have stone sills which they wouldn't want to remove, or is it optional for some other reason: eg are uPVC sills not as hard-wearing as the original wooden ones? I guess a sill gets a lot of rough treatment like standing, accidental kicking & scratching.
(I will be installing it myself).

That seems to be the case for a 27 year old Phoenix man who's been in a Maricopa County hospital prison ward for the last eight and a half months.

The man suffers from a very rare case of tuberculosis; something that could kill him before he gets out.

Robert Daniels is in solitary confinement. "I never thought that this could happen," he says. "I'm telling you, I'm sometimes sitting on a bed and I'm just crying because of all the quietness."

"I'm not being isolated, I'm being incarcerated."

For the past 8 months he has been confined to his room, equipped with a special ventilation system. His only contact with the outside world is the medical staff who feed and treat him. And a telephone.

Are we heading down the proverbial "slippery slope" where everyone who has a communicable disease is at risk of being locked up if they act in a irresponsible manner?

OK, full story, i was with my ex for over a year, i cheated on her early in the relationship, and i decided to end it when i was caught.

we have a son, who i do my best for, see him all the time, pay for every thing for him etc, who is 2 and half months old.

Just after he was born, she asked me if i wanted to get back with her, i was unsure so as not to get her hopes up said no.

A week later i proposed only to be told she needs to think about it, and a month and half later she rejected me.

My feelings for her have grown stronger and stronger over recent weeks and i am now finding it hard to sleep. I just want us to be a family. Any advice?

Guys are supposed to do the hard work in society and also be the one who drives if they are in a relationship with a woman. I think that since the guys do the driving, the girls could do something for their man to show them how much they love him. That is why I was thinking something simple like fan him or feed him some chilled grapes while driving, and maybe telling him how wonderful a man he is and how much she appreciates him driving her around. Would you agree? What are some other things women could do for their man to show appreciation in the car? Please nothing 'PG-13 or above' here.

I just read an article on Jackie R, and the decline of African Americans in BB. I have an answer for it and no I dont believe it has to do with money. I believe it has more to do with people being drafted from countries like Japan, Korea, DMR, and Venzuela. Personally I dont care where you come from. But If your good your good. and if your from a foreign country and your talented then come and play. Idont know how well scouts look at american players but I can say there are alot in the minors.

I really don't think it is so stupid.. or unscientific to believe that this incredible world is designed.
Why can't scientists give everyone else a break in light of how often THEY change THEIR minds.
Science used to teach the universe was a steady state. Now they say its the Big Bang.
Science used to say life was composed of 'simple cells' now they say single cells and they admit things are more complicated than even THEY can understand.
Science says that light speed is a constant but now they are saying it might have varied.
Mathemeticians in one science say Codes cannot just happen, evolutionists keep trying to say DNA somehow plopped out of primordial soup.

THe list goes on an AWEFUL long time.
Don't get me wrong. I am not knocking science. It can do great things. NO QUESTION. But so do people of simple faith and intelligence.
So does any one agree that these all knowing scientists should give us little knowing people a break for the common sense that life is designed?
