Neither. She should be executed by drowning.

Obviously, what we have here is a problem. The woman clearly needs help, needs medication, and therapy. That might save HER life. The issue then becomes her children. Should she ever have contact with them? Yes, she should see and know her children and they should be allowed to know and love her. They should also be taught that she is sick and will not ever be perfect. The best answer would be a family member to take them in and care for them and allow her to visit. She needs time away in probably a mental health care facility rather than a prison. It doesn't sound like prison would cure her..........it would save the children, but not her.

Neither, She needs to be placed in a Mental Hospital for a long time. Hopefully, the children will be placed in a good home or with the other caring parent. She needs long time care and treatment. Because She will continue to do this . She is severely Mentally ill and needs to be placed in the Locked Unit in her state. I would sentence her to ten years at the State Mental Hospital. (locked ward)

Definitely NOT probation. Attempted murder is attempted murder. Either put her in a psych ward or put her in prison. Either way, she's unfit to take care of kids b/c she needs someone to monitor her 24/7 and ensure she takes her meds. She can't be on the streets.

I'm a lawyer and I've also got a degree in criminology. However, even just using common sense, I can't see how anyone could justify putting her on probation.

This reminds me of a woman (Susan Smith of Union SC) she drowned both her children (two beautiful boys) in a lake.

She got on the news crying to the public saying that her car was hijacked and the kids were in the back seat....she was crying and begging for their return...come to find out she took the boys down to the lake in the car and drove it into the lake and left her kids in the back seats buckled up in their seat belts. She's now in a SC jail I hope she's never allowed to get out. A few years back I saw where she was allowed to get email from people (men).

No one that try to kill their kids should be out running around the streets, and neighborhoods. She's a danger to everyone she comes close to...especially the poor kids that she tried to kill. I say no parole.

in a mental hospital seeking some real help and never to be let around children again and if she was to ever fall pregnant again to have the kids taken away from her at birth. I know she would be in a mental hospital but it has happened that women have got pregnant in there

She should be committed to a state hospital or at the very least have the children removed from her custody in case she forgets again. Put her in jail !!!!!

She was told to take the medication for a reason. Whatever the finding is, she should never be allowed around children again.

She tried to drown her own kids? So, it sounds like their very lives depend on if she takes her anti-depression meds. They need to put her away.
