Certainly the whole issue wouldn't have happened if he hadn't made the comments. And the comments were clearly inappropriate. But the magnetude of the response seems WAY out of proportion for the comment and subsequent apology. What is your take on this circus?

Or try to deny me my beliefs by telling me they are wrong? I get this from several different types of people- Christians, Atheists, Muslims, etc.

I believe in animism. I think everything is part of a larger soul .I think rocks have an essance of spirit. I think different animals are spiritual in their own ways. I believe in being connected with Nature.

Christians tell me I am going to Hell unless I give up my pagan ways for their ways.

Atheists tell me I am delusional for believing in any metaphysics(although I can't see how I'm hurting anybody. I'm a pro-freedom Libertarian who would never force my beliefs on anyone, and I study and accept evolution and the Big Bang theory).

Muslims pretty much tell me the same thing the Christians do.


What's up with that? Why do you guys hate on my beliefs? And it's certainly just not me, but I wanted to make an example.

I don't give a flying **** what your religion or lack of says. There is no way to justify this.

I think there is a serious double-standard when it comes to racial slurs and racism in general. How can entertainers like Snoop Dogg spew bile with imupunity while a white guy is disgraced and let go. Hey I'm not condoning Imus' remarks, they were out of the proverbial line, but the entire situation is ridiculous. It has been reported that even General Motors and other corporations have pulled out due to fear of their advertising of the show leading to protests and boycotts. Either way, it is sad that a thing this obvious isn't ever mentioned on television.

i have a 1989 chevy suburban that until recently has ran fine. the last time i tried to start it, it made a strange noise and then did nothing. i checked the battery and its fine. i have ran through all the fuses and wires and found nothing wrong. it looks like it should run but it does nothing. lights, radio, horn, nothing works.

When atheists assault "the Bible" - they are not aware it is a compendium - they focus almost entirely on what they and Christians know as the Old Testament. As I understand it,these texts are deemed sacred by all practicing Jews. So: do Jews take the view that attacks on their scripture - crude and insulting - are not actually attacks as long as they are presented as as attacks on Christianity,or do they genuinely not find it offensive to make such attacks? If I were Jewish,I'd be offended; I'd call it religious bigotry - which it is. Let me put it this way: do Jews view attacks on Hebrew scripture as anti-Semitic,or don't they? Any Jewish people out there tonight?

Well I don't do any drugs but I do smoke cigarettes and drink beer. Tomorrow I need to take a drug test for a new job and was wondering if I will pass? I was taking vitamin A, vitamin B6, and L-lysine and hope that those will not affect the drug test. Are there any professionals on here that could tell me if I will pass?

can you run a V6 with one turbo on one side of the engine, or does it have to use exhaust from both sides of the engine. i thought that with a V engine you had to have two turbos or bring the exhaust together, then add a single.
