This russian girl was writing to me and kept asking for money...so I told her I wasn't going to...and she should stop hitting me up for money...NOW...her "father has come on and says she tried to COMMIT SUICIDE!!! AND HE SAYS ITS A CRIME IN RUSSIA to say something to make a person commit suicide!!! AND HE NOW WANTS $3500 or he is GOING TO THE RUSSIAN POLICE!!! IS THIS ALSO A SCAM?

I believe that religion is quite frankly 'a joke'. I believe that there is some supreme power however I do not believe that 'you will go hell if you commit sins and are not virtuous'. Religion had been used in the past to scare people into doing what is 'right' and so that people had something to explain the things that they didn't know, however nowadays i feel that religion is very unnecessary due to the modern society which we live in. We now have science to answer our questions, and disprove the existance of 'God' does anyone agree??

My 120 gallon tank now seems to have several small snails which I hoped would be eaten by my dojo loaches but then I moved a piece of driftwood and found a whole clump of them and now there are several more. I have heard that other loaches like yoyo and clowns are both good snail eaters. I do not want to use chemicals and I don't want to use the lettuce method since I'd have to kill them somehow after. I'd rather they be used as a food source then crush them or let them dry out. Please let me know what has been the most effective way for you to get rid of these little pests.

This one puzzled me even as a kid in the catholic church.

No believer has ever given me a reasonable answer for it.

How can some strange intelligence being there to create the cosmic stuff make more sense than the cosmic stuff just being there.

If God were there before the cosmic stuff, then he is made of whatever God would be made of. It doesn't matter if it's nothing like atoms or energy as we know it.

So you end up with old chicken and egg routine.

Doesn't it make more sense to just take one of them out of the equation and just say "the chicken (cosmic stuff) was always there, there was no egg"?

My wife is 27 weeks pregnant. She has to go to Labor and Delivery because she had stomach problems, abdomenal cramping, and back pain.

I got an explanation of benefits from 4/5/07 yesterday (4/6/07)
Saying that I am responsible for the charges.

Here is the explanation: The explanation: "You are responsible for these charges because your contract excludes benefits for services provided out of network when they aren't for emergancy care or authorized by the primary care physician or network physician."

Well: plan states 100% coverage as long as facility is in network.

Why does the Explanation of Benefits say that they are not paying for this?????

She is STILL in the hospital, so why did they do an explanation of benefits already??????

Ah, so that makes it all right, does it? Miller and Warner Brothers invoke the “it’s just entertainment” defence and we’re supposed to excuse deliberate inaccuracies?! If that holds for moviemakers, perhaps it should also hold elsewhere:

My husband is getting paid $12/hr this payroll gross was $918. The deductions are $278.40 (child support) and all the other taxes deductions. I see everything in order but they started also holding Philadelphia local Income tax for $88.04. I did know about Federal Income tax and PA income tax but this Philadelphia taxes I never herd of them and the withold amount is almost 3 times higher than the PA one. So he is only receiving $ $344.28 this payroll. Is this right?

I would like to know what is the law in a muslim country when a non muslim man converts to islam so that he can take advantage of the islamic sharia law to his advantage. The man is hindu married to non muslim but now he would like to convert to islam so that he does not have to pay alimony and have two wives. Originally married under the indian marriage act. Does this mean that the sharia law will apply now that he has converted? Doesn't the original law apply ie the law of indian marriage act to the woman. Which law would apply to the non muslim first wife? Under what basis can she fight her case? The husband is having an affair with a muslim lady in a muslim country. Is it true that he can easily divorce his first wife and pay only for three months of maintainence? Is it easy to convert to islam?

I just answered a question .... where a lady had just found out that her husband had built up a £15k debt..... and she was thinking about leaving him.....

I just found it a bit sick as they have 2 kids and had been together for 8 years ..... to throw it all away because of £15k....doesnt seem rational to me.....

A little background first, I quit drinking a year ago because my wife cannot handle her alcohol and we were fighting all the time when we drank.

Last weekend she wanted me to go to a party with her and her coworkers and I said no. I asked her to please not get drunk and drive. She said ok, of course she got drunk and crashed on our friends couch and then drove home in the morning. .

Last night she got home and said I have to go to a party with my coworkers and would you please go. I said no again, I have my son this weekend. I was woke up at 6 this morning with her crying and saying she had a problem. She reeked of booze and said I was raped at the party. I am suspicious, she didn't call, she went to the hospital supposedly and a rape kit was done, she says the guy was arrested, she has a small black eye, no other sign of struggle, she's very defensive, I am not getting much info. Yes she has lied to me before but not on this level. How should I handle this?

Let's face it, most Black smokers like menthol cigarettes. Why is that? I'm a Black smoker, but I like Marlboros....I know that all cigarettes are hazardous, but I eschew menthol smokes because they contain small amounts of fiber glass (in addition to the bad stuff that all smokes contain).

On a side note, it seems like most of the White people who like menthol cigarettes are White females with Black boyfriends (not that there is anything wrong with that).

We know what year Christ died. We know how the Jewish Passover was determined.. So even if we narrow it down to a range we should be able to determine the date of a Friday or Sunday in that period.. So why can't we find the exact date of the Resseruction?

I am about ready to lose my mind!! My fiance' and I are having a destination wedding in another state and my family is all pissed off about it. My mom and dad are mad and my sisters all keep saying "well you must not want anybody there". NO! Thats not why we're doing it this way! Why cant anybody understand that just because its a destination wedding, it doesnt mean we dont want them there. There are plenty of good reasons why we are doing it this way and also, we really want to!! I dont want to have the same exact wedding as all my older sisters. Then its not even special ya know?
I'd like to get to a point where I start enjoying my engagement and look forward to my wedding but right now, I just feel like crap.
Are there any other brides out there that have gone thru this? Why do people take weddings so personally!?
