I'm doing a math problem, and it says: "A certain stock begins the week trading at 87.5 per share. If the average gain for the next four days is 0.5, by how much should the price of the stock increase during Friday so that the total gain for the stock during the entire five days is 5 percent?"

According to the explanation given by the book I'm using, a gain of 0.5 is a gain of 2. How did they get that?

I live off of fast food, chocolate, and other junk food. I'm 5'10 and I'm 150 lb.

But according to BMI calculators, I'm in a healthy weight range.

If my body is already in a healthy range, would it be difficult for me to get even thinner by NOT eating junk food anymore? I'd love to go down to 130 lb.

Or do I have the potential, if I eat healthy, to be at a lower weight?

How do you put an image (like the head) of a picture onto a computer image? It is the thing where like your head will end up on a clown's head and it looks like its your body. Does anybody know how to do it?

lots dont do that. I like clean feet and in shoes.
You do see some girls slipping there feet in and out of shoes but a lot of them dont at all. So why would I like just barefeet that are clean and not slipping in and out of shoes.

And I also dont like it when I see a girl outside barefoot, feet should stay clean

my daughter and I always make easter eggs every year, and then I take the ones she made add them to her basket, and then hide her basket, this has been our tradition since she could walk, however, I have a hugh problem this year....we are putting hard wood floors in our house, and so...our stove is unhooked (gas stove) therefore, I cannot boil the eggs.....I've heard they explode in the microwave, but that you could poke a pin hole through to the yolk to prevent this.....does this work? and how long do I cook them for? it would be 12 eggs, do I cook them in water in the microwave? or just by themselves? help please! :)

My mother (who is catholic) and I (who is not catholic, and does not go to church) are attending a Easter Vigil tonight. She has ask for me to take her because she is wanting to get communion.

Here are my questions:
1.) The vigil is at 7:00 pm. How long do one of these vigils
last?

2.) I am going to walk my mother up the aisle to recieve communion. How do I respectfully decline communion? *I cannot get communion because I never was confirmed in a catholic church*

3.) What is the dress code for this vigil. My mother is going to wear a pink top with some black slacks and tennis shoes. *she does not have "dress-up" clothes*. I was thinking of some black pants, boots and a nice top. Will this suffice?
