I was offered a job last week and need to determine a fair salary. Originally the job was a freelance position offering 30 hours a week in print design work (paid on an hourly rate). The person who had this job was responsible for the design and layout of a 16 page magazine, light ad sales, and other design work such as brochures. I do not know how much this person was paid, but I do know he had the time to take other freelance jobs on the side with other businesses.

This job was transformed into a part time position and offered to me. The hours would still remain around 30 a week, but in addition to the above duties, I will also be the editor of the magazine and have to write articles, take photographs, and do copy editing. The job comes with no health insurance, and working 30 hours a week, I won't be able to take a significant 2nd job.

For all this work, what would be a fair hourly rate?

being christian means that you are a follower of christ..i am one....but so many christians today dont follow christ! instead they make up excuses of why they dont. for instance Christmas. so many christians celebrate it, and for what? Jesus didnt celebrate christmas nor did he celebrate his birthday, why? because birthdays were only celebrated by enemy's of god..like pharoah. but today many christians celebrate both birthdays and christmas! please explain such hypocrisy.

Are they any drugs(on the shelf) that you can take to help regulate your periods to better predict your ovulation? My periods are pretty irregular, and always have been. And I can't tell when I'm ovulating. It's a guessing game. And I hate it! Anyone have similar problems? And how did you come about conceiving??

I am 20 years old. I made about $13000 dollars from two jobs, some of the $ was tips.I was a (waiter) last year. My father claimed me....He recieved all his taxes back, because he is working abroad for the military. any ways... I am a full time student ... took out some school loans to pay for school.... on a scholarship that pays about 80% of my tuition. i live at home. and thats about it ....

For me, it was when someone asked "Do you believe in God, yes or no". This was before I decided to take issue with that particular question and rant and rave like a madwoman every time I see it. I replied at the time with a simple "No." and was given a Violation Report for "Chatting and Personal Communications".

I just got this sharp pain in my left temple next to my eye...Then I put my hand there and was like oouuch...I felt like a little welt/bump and it felt like it was throbbing...I feel kind of wierd now, like I have a headache just came and hit me.....
It still hurts but not as bad as it did when it was throbbing...
What do u think it is?

DOES EXIST and there is tons of scientific evidence that it does occur.
But the primary cause of it is not human actions.
If you would go to the NASA website and find out about the temperature of the outerlying planets you will see that the outerlying planets are also heating up too or are experiencing higher temperature fluctuations.
Also, automobiles and industry only produced a very very small fraction of the greenhouse gases compared to all of the volcanoes and forest fires that occur every year. The fraction is about one millionth and surprisingly low.
I think that Al Gore is just controlling people with fear about a subject they don't know much about. Gore is using emotional videos and speaches to intimidate people.
I do support a cleaner environment but I think that other forms of pollution are more harmful to the environment like the dumping of toxic chemicals into the ocean.
Do you still support a carbon tax? A tax that if implmented will only benefit the democrats?
