I am 20 years old. I made about $13000 dollars from two jobs, some of the $ was tips.I was a (waiter) last year. My father claimed me....He recieved all his taxes back, because he is working abroad for the military. any ways... I am a full time student ... took out some school loans to pay for school.... on a scholarship that pays about 80% of my tuition. i live at home. and thats about it ....

You don't really have a lot of options. You would file claiming all of your income including tips, from both jobs, and note on your return that you can be claimed as a dependent. You wouldn't be eligible for any education credits, those would go to your dad since you're his dependent.

At $13,000 a year, you can't afford enough itemized deductions to exceed the standard deduction ($5,150 for single in 2006). As a current student, you should not be paying student loan interest. I doubt there is anything you can do to change your refund for the 2006 tax year.
