Does it have to be level (even) with the rest of my lawn? It's about an inch or so thick and in some places it is higher than the lawn that the sod is laid next to -- I had to reset my sump pump pipe back down into the ground, cover it back up with dirt and laid the sod overtop which runs alongside my sidewalk, but -- it's not evenly level with the rest of the lawn. Should I just take up the sod and lay grass seeds, or lift the sod up, take out some dirt and relay the sod to try and make it level with the rest of my yard, or will it even itself out once it attaches to my lawn. Sorry I'm not very well educated on lawn and gardening. I do know I need to water it daily for at least two weeks. Thanks for all answers.

Ok my dilemna is this:
My mother is a devout Catholic who ended up turning me away from religion because she was so stircit, intense, outspoken, pushy and did nothing but make me fear the end of the world throughout my childhood and teen years. We get along but really do not talk to eachother as I have quite a bit of resentment towards her. Its doubtful that she knows how much she has hurt me...
I want nothing more than to marry on a cruise ship by a non-demonational minister with my fiance. It would be so much simpler and its what we both want.
But my mother expects me to marry in the catholic church and go through all of that hassle which I dont even believe in, in the first place.
She is old and I know she means well so I dont want to hurt her, but I feel guilty putting my fiance through all this religious stuff he doesnt want to do. And I feel like a coward doing things just for her.
What would you do? What you want? or what your mother wants? And why?

Why not have proper representation in government?

What's wrong with having ten different parties in government as opposed to only 3?
The democratic system would work much better if corruption was taken out of the duopoly system and members were not beholden to their party's interests and childish peer pressure.
