Currently the Army is not excluding you from entry with your ink.

Though if you really want to be a marine, you might see about tattoo removal. But talk with a recruiter before you proceed with that.

They did not just change the rules on tats. If you have had them all over your neck and arms, you would not have gotten in before these new rules. I would bet you have got some other issues that make you not qualified anyways, So what the H are you going to do. Stop making excuses for your self, all you are doing is finding reasons why you cannot do something!!

Atleast in the Marines..
Yeah if they are going to be visable when your wearing a uniform you have to get a waiver.

If you get one while your in and its visable when your wearing a uniform they can NJP you for it.

I think they put that into place because alot of guys joining up had gang tats, and other tattoos that were disruptive. I can remember one day they made us all line up and they took digital photos of all our tattoos so someone back in Washington could determine if we had any gang or racial tattoos. I guess thats the policy now.

How about those shallow girls? Some day, some where there will be an old, wrinkly 80 year old great grandma Heather with a barb wire around her upper arm and a fake Asian character (that really means "I'm a dumb a.s.s.) on her neck, with no tongue because her tongue stud got infected and rotted her tongue which had to be removed.

Why did you get the tattoos in the first place? If God wanted pictures on your body he would have created you that way.

To quote Forrest Gump: " Stupid is as stupid does".

You could always get the words "living proof" added prominently and hire yourself out to church groups.
