The filter is located underneath the car near the fuel tank and i think it takes a 5/8'' wrench& a 20mm wrench. If not there are plastic clips that connect filter to fuel line. On that type you dont need any tools.Just squeeze the clip and release the filter.

The fuel filter is located just outside of the gas tank.It is 'inline', you also have one inside the tank.It filters the fuel before getting into the pump. The vehicle is old enough that you should have the one in the tank replaced also before it causes your fuel pump to fail.Your best bet would be to take it to a garage to have done as you will not have all the tools required.

Most Chevy fuel filters are under the car, on the drivers side, right about midway on the car...held by one bracket and bolt, it has threaded metal fittings, in and out of it.

It will take two different size wrenches, one for the bracket bolt, and two wrenches for the fittings (size varies, but usually 7/16 or 1/2 for one bolt, and 11/16 for fittings)

It's a messy AND dangerous job, so have someone in the know do it for you.

well since you are a female it is in the same spot as if you were a male. Being a female you would need 2 wrenches a 5/8 and a 20mm. If you were a male then you would need 2 wrenches a 5/8 and a 20mm.

An in-line fuel filter can be found in the fuel feed line attached to the rear crossmember of the vehicle, rear of the fuel tank. There is no service interval for replacing the fuel filter. Only replace the filter if it becomes clogged or restricted.
