Me and my guy of 16 months broke up on Thursday night. We texted a little last night, and that's where he told me that sometimes he liked me, and other times he didn't. I still really like him, but he says, "I want us to just be really close friends." I don't want to settle for that, but I don't want to bug him about it anymore. We both agreed to be close friends, though. What can I do around him (besides dressing like a tramp) that will make him want to go back out with me? Oh, and he knows that I still like him. . .<3

this has to do with what came up on the news recently of pet food causing kidney failure.... i have a cat, and I just want to make sure I dont feed him anything bad...

Problem:

log y+ log (y+21) =2

Solving:

log(base 10) y (y+21) = log (base 10) 10 ^2
y (y+21) =100
y^2 +21y -100 = 0

How do I factor it out? I used the quadratic formula but it still doesn't work

im very lonely and isolated as a person, i live in a small flat, and i have borderline personality disorder to, ive been through a hell of a lot in my life. ive never had any friends or a girl friend in all my 29 years of bein alive. im waiting for an assesment for therapy, but i dont no when this is gonna be.
i have very low self esteem, i can be very dependant, clingy, posessive and needy. but iam aware that iam, and i really try hard not to be.
im trying to break the desperate sense of isolation i feel and loneliness by trying to reach out to girls i like the look of on myspace. ive socially isolated myself and dont go out anywhere because of terrible panic and anxiety, plus i have inner rage feelings to and im worried about losing control.
so for me, MYSPACE is the next best thing. but every approach im making, every friendly message im leaving, which has been for over dozens and dozens of girls, none of them are replying back to me, & i feel angry at them because of it

One day 2 nunns were ordered by mother superiour to paint their chamber. She told them to get no paint on their habbits.

One nunn said to the other "since we're both women we could paint in the nude and after were finished we can put or clothing back on." both agreed and stripped down and began painting in privacy with the door locked.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door "Who is it?" asked one of the nunns.

"Blind man!" answered the voice.

"I doubt it would be wrong to let him in since he's blind" said the second nunn.

They opened the door and let the man in.

After a short pause, he said "Nice hooters...which windows you want the new blinds on?"

I had Passoa, which is only sold in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Because the flower that serves as the base root for this neon pinky-orange concoction is a known aphrodesiac, it is not widely spread (except in countries that remain very open about sexuality). AND IT REALLY WORKS PEOPLE! The alcohol content is not much-about 20%-but man, does it work wonders. I snuck a bottle back here from France, and needless to say, I made a lot of people on my campus happy. The guy at the airport liquor store (when I asked where the Passoa was) definitely sprung to life, and hurled me right over to the section. I know there is a Jamaican overproof rum that you need a special permit to bring back to this country...but, anyone else ever encounter such a wonderful drink as this?
