I have the Treo 700 with high speed from Telus. It has the following:

- camcorder ( six hour capacity)
- camera: over 4000 pictures
- email
- text
- phone
- pocket tunes with a slot for an expansion card. I use it as my MP3 player.

Co-workers have Blackberry...they are thinking of changing to the Treo. I had the 600, then upgraded to the 650 and now have the 700...and they seem to get better and better with every upgrade.

A good point has been made. The operating systems for these phones are very different. If you want the opportunity to do more with a phone, than a Treo would be best. I have a Treo and it holds 8 email accounts, VPN information to get to work email through the firewall etc. The Treo is much more computer like than a blackberry and the treos now can also work with word documents, pdf files, excel spreadsheets etc. A Blackberry is really a phone and email device, a treo has over 10,000 programs written for its platform, plus I watch movies and tv shows on it (memory card) when I am traveling by plane etc. Blackberries are convenient, the Treo is coooollll.....

yes the 680 has a camera the the BB8800 doesn't

You are really comparing @ totaly different PDA's

I like that both of these phone are great
BUt they both aren't great for everyone.

If you are a big emailer and need your emails pushed to then the BB push email client would be great for you

If you need a touch screen and a great clander and organizer the the treo 680 would be great for you

I can't stress this enough that you really need to look at what most important to you.

Plus if you are going through cingular now the new att they have a 30 exchange return on all of there phones
so try one out and if you dont like you have 30 days to return it.

Best of luck to you
