I have been with my bf for 2.5months(i am21,hes24)I am his first GF in 2YRS.I could tell he REALLY liked me in the beginning.he took me to meet his parents and friends and invited me EVERWHERE.About a month ago,he started acting really distant and i started to not see him as much(like 1 time a week).Last weekend,he really opened up to me and told me how his ex cheated on him and how he wants to get his life together,then he goes out drinking all the time.I had a talk withhim on Monday about how I feel like he doesnt care about me now,and how i would like to see him more.he was understanding at first,but then said he wanted space,that hes scared and thinks we are moving too fast!also said that he does really care about me and he isnt going anywhere.He told me he would think about this and call me back.i havent talked to him since,and havent tried calling.I want to give him time to think about this,BUT how much more time should I give him?and why is he acting like this?

Pup had blood test. Everything normal.
Elevated Urea (BUN) ate meat for dinner night before. High protein.
Creatinine normal, urine concentrated. All blood work good.
Is this reason to worry?

Advice please. I have just adopted a three year old blue merle border collie from an animal rescue.
The only history given was that he was brought up with 3 children and a cat and was given to the rescue (along with the cat) because his owners where moving and the new property had a 'No Pets' policy. I will never know if this story is true or false.
I haven't brought him home yet as I am having new fencing put up in my garden to make it pooch proof. I go to the rescue most days to walk him, I hope to fetch him home next week. He isn't use to a lead, he tries to bite it in a playful way. He pulls like mad too. Would a haltie be a good idea once I get him home? The rescue give me a choker to walk him with, but he pants and chokes like crazy. He will sit, lie give paw on command but they are brief, as soon as he sits he's up again and the same for lie down. He doesn't like other dogs and isn't neuterd. Ides or advice welcome. Would agility be a possibility in future or is he too old?

I have firefox installed on my flashdrive. Im trying to use it at school, because it has all my bookmarks and is a lot easier to use than Internet explorer the way i have it set up. Anyway, every time i try to start it, i get a message saying "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on your computer". I dont want to do anything bad, i just want to be able to use it. And no i cant install it on the school computer, i signed some kind of tech agreement. So does anyone know of some way to get around them blocking me from using firefox on a flashdrive?

Well I bought a townhouse about 8 months ago (OCT 06) for around 215,000 in Beaverton Or (Gate Neighborhood) -

(2 Bedroom & 2 Bathroom) around 1290 SQ with two car garage and a small backyard that is fenced.

I got kind of bad loan terms but thought buying a house would be a better investment than a small rent payment. Loan was a 3 -1 arm loan and was for 40 years. I believe interest rate on my first mortgage is 6.7% and 2nd loan is 9.3% on 43,000 dollars. I HAVE A PREPAIDMENT penalty.

Payments come out to be around $1650 a month plus HOA and utitlites.


I am looking down the road and I don't see the house appreciating all the much with current conditions. I am not wanting to wait till the end of the time "where my prepayment" pentaly goes way since I would have put another $25000 into the house in mortgage.

If I wait another 2 years to sell I would have put $40,000 into mortgage where most will probably be interest.

Should I sell now? Any SUggestions?
